I can't believe my experience
by sprdad50
I had dinner there several times. And every time i went, it has exceeded my expectations. I never in my life seen a menu like this one and at first it scared me because I didn't think they could pull something like this off, but they do all the time. The food is amazing and if you don't try it, you are missing out on flavor, value and the experience. This is a must try place. It's not like any other restaurant I ever been to in LA. If you haven't been here yet, shame on you. All I have to say to these guys is...thank you for the most amazing food. I have somewhere to go to eat now!
Pros: excellent food, friendliest service, parking
Cons: hard to find, more light

Best Time Ever
by pot8tohd
Ate there agian and again and every time it just exceeds my expectation. I went with some friends and they were blown away how good the food was, the value, and the service. I am so happy that finally there is a restaurant in this spoiled city that is not trying to rip you off and everyone is super friendly, unlike other places just focusing on hollywood. This place is definately the place to go if you want to feel comfortable and enjoy yourself. This is a fun place and if you don't come...you're MISSING out big time.
Pros: Great food, service, ambiance
Cons: Not very visable

big suprise in los feliz!!!
by evanyesterday
okay i'm not sure how this happened but these guys managed to create a really cool place that is unlike any of the others in the area. The restaurant is fine dining quality and attention but unlike other spots doesn't have stuffy fussy service - a feat in and of itself. The dining room is comfy and romantic... a little dark which is mostly ok for dates and friends. The FOOD is the real treat here and the flavors 'pop'. Get the miso cod the sake dynamite thing and mangalore calamari. music is varied and good but sometimes too lively but it works. The staff and owners and chef are extremely engaging and fun. The bar takes me back to Manhattan. And thank goodness for the smoking patio!!! Oh and the Austrian wine selection is tops. great for dinner, drinks or both. Since writing this I returned with my son on friday (i don't go out on Sun/Mon. as most chef-friends of mine seem to be off work) This time due to a couple of our comments I decided to try the duck with a glass of cotes du rhone - (can't remember which label) I found the duck at med.rare to be tender. My rice was charred (tasted good) and when i inquired learned it was a specific part of the recipe. I agree that some of the sauce can be sweet but thats the style of the food. isn't it? maybe it was different for us because we paired everything with some wine selection. Anyways this is one of my new favorites and it hasn't disappointed me personally. I think the food came out smoother this last visit. I tried a corn chicken soup that was fun (like an asian stracchitella) - it came with a chili sauce to season/zap it myself.
Pros: delicious flavors, friendly service, unique atmosphere

Tiger Lily is THE place to go in LA!!!!
by strumstrum
The atmosphere of this bar/restaurant is a breath of fresh air compared to the pretensious and over-rated "hot spots" in LA. There's a magnifying glass lit bar, a variety of personalities in the staff and in the kitchen, and a menu that will satisfy every craving in New World Asian Cuisine. The executive chef is friendly, outgoing, and personable - you see this when he visits your table to introduce himself, the menu, and to get feedback and constructive criticism. The owner of this fab joint is always movin' around the room, checkin' in - makining people feel welcome. The food rock, the people there rock, and the location is awesome. FINALLY, Manhattan has met the eastside of LA!
Pros: atmosphere, great food, affordable
Cons: music too loud, not too visible

Great Food, Great Ambiance, Great People!

Their food is just amazing! I had their miso-marinated cod and rib-eye, and my friend had their calamari and bunch of skewers and duck. The presentation of the plates and the place just looked gorgeous and the people there were so nice. The owner and the chef came and shook our hands! We just had so much fun!

Great Drinks! Romantic Place!

The bartenders are so beautiful at this place, and they make heavenly saketinis! For those that love wine, their wine list is so extensive you are for sure to be impressed! Their selection of munchies are so good... you can really get full just off their starters, and their price is just great. Dont miss out!
