I recently had my hair cut and colored by Veronica at Say Lula and she was awesome. Very easy to talk to and a great listener. I am so happy with my new style. The salon is also great nothing like any I have been to before. It's off the beaten path and I really like the energy inside. Check it out!!!!
I found Say Lula through an Internet search and I love their website. It was easy to navigate and really cool looking. They have prices and hours listed on the site and a bio for each stylist. I get my hair cut every 3 weeks and they are great with guys haircuts. I found the salon easily and had no problem parking. They play great music and there is tons of amazing art to look at. I would recommend this salon to everyone.
I love Say Lula Salon. Lisa who owns the salon does my cut and highlights and I am very picky about my blond. She does an amazing job every time. She is a great listener and I always feel so comfortable in the salon. They offer wine and have these really comfy orange 50's couches. The place is straight out of interior design magazine. You have to at least see it but definitely get your hair done by Lisa she knows her stuff.
Say Lula Salon has the best interior of any salon in San Diego. It screams of New York loft. Aside from the great decor the Stylists are top notch. I recently had a total makeover by the owner Lisa Telepman and I don't think I have ever looked better. She totally updated me and brought out my personality which was hidden under too much hair and an 80's style. I will refer everyone I know to her. Go to Say Lula Salon!!
i think it's lame when a website doesn't list hours. i called and left a message on voice mail (also lame) on a monday, the outgoing message did not say they were closed on mondays. I got a call about noon the next day. guess what I call that? lame. forget it.

Sorry to hear you were disappointed that our message didn't state we weren't open the day you called. We have updated our information and we are actually open on Sundays and Mondays now and we try to communicate the best we can with the internet and our door sign etc. when we are open and closed.Latest reviews from Citysearch.
Andrea Miller is the best stylist I have ever been to. I am extremly picky when it comes to my hair, but I always leave Andrea's chair feeling 100% satisfied. She is an absolute genius with color and cuts. She gives me the perfect blend of multi-tonal blonde highlights to compliment my skin tone. I recently moved to LA and tried to find someone to fill Andrea's shoes. Needless to say I wasn't successful. It is worth the drive to San Diego every other month for her to work her magic.
