I've been going there for years and I can't get enough! They have started offering food and drink specials every night and even 1/2 off pool on others. The staff are attractive and attentive. There isn't the trash you might expect at other sports bars/billiards hall which makes is a great place for a date, to meet up with friends and/or coworkers or even a quick drink before a movie!

If I'm not in the mood for a 'bar scene,' I'll grab a seat at the fire bar or a table on the patio and enjoy some great BBQ while people watching.

All in all, not a bad time and I certainly get my $$ worth!

Pros: enclosed patio, multiple big screens, good service, no trash

I have never eaten at the Rack, but have gone there to play pool. It is a very nice pool "hall" in a sleek, clean, large environment. They also have plenty of flat-screen TVs to watch sports on while you play pool. A great date-night place if you are looking for something a little bit different to do.

We recently ate dinner at The Rack and found the food good. I found the sweet onion soup to be an interesting twist on the typical french onion soup. My companions had the ribs and found them tender and tasty. The service was okay, but not superior.

I ate at The Rack in Woodland Hills recently and was very disappointed. The restaurant is cheap; no dressing on salads and bread costs extra. If you do ask for dressing, you'll receive about two teaspoons. The service does not make up for the food shortcomings. They will bombard you when you sit down, then ignore you after you receive the meal, when you might actually need something, like a glass of water with your expensive wine? Afterall, it reaches in the 100's in Woodland Hills and the least they can do, since they cut back in everything else, is give a customer a glass of water. The worst part is that the hostess was really rude. Then the big, fat guy who usually says thanks when you leave said nothing when I left, although I'm pleasant and leave good tips. The message was never, ever ask for something extra. It was a horrible experience and I won't be back.
