We visited Pelican Station looking for a good variety quality place. They were understaffed the night we arrived, but they were honest about it and we decided to wait it out walking along their beautiful boardwalk overlooking the bay. Was it ever worth it!!
The staff were friendly, the atmosphere in the dining area was perfect. We had a great view of the bay, as did most of the tables around us it seemed. The salad bar was great, and the entrees were phenomenal! We had the Pecan Catfish and the Blackened Fish and Pasta. We finished it off with the Cowboy Brownie which was amazing!
The prices were great. Really we were surprised at the quality of the food. I think that we'll have to visit again next time we come.

Visited 3/8/07 - This is the first nice restaurant I have found in the South Padre area. I came here for dinner and this restaurant was very nice and well kept on the inside and outside. The nice bayside view certainly didn't hurt. The service here was very good and one of the members of the family that owns the restaurant came around and asked how we were and how we were enjoying our stay in the area, very friendly. As for the food it was the best I have had in the South Padre area, it is reasonably priced, not cheap but not expensive, you are certainly getting what you are paying for. I saw that their lunch menu was very reasonably priced as well with a good selection of sandwiches/burgers in the 7 dollar range. Overall a good menu selection, reasonable prices, good food, and good atmosphere. I would definately come back here again.
