Portofino Sun

A had a great expirenece! Recommended! Beds were strong and great service. I've been to the location up at 75th Street and this location is way smaller then theirs. The rooms are a bit small for my past experieneces with tanning salons, but they fit to my comfort. Staff was very helpful and nice. But the structure of the store needs help.
Overall service is GREAT!

I needed a tan so I went to this place by my office and it is the best. The equipment is new and efficient.( I saw color in just one session.) The place is clean and the staff will go out of their way to help you. They always have compliementary water and candy in their waiting area. If you're in Murray Hill and need a tan...go to Portofino. This is the best place I've ever been to in NYC.

I love this place its super close to my job and they have an amazing selection of tanning booths for reasonable prices. Plus the people are so nice and they make an effort to keep the place super clean.

This place is looking up! I've been going here for about 8 months and find that I get a better tan than at any other salon in New York. The staff has always been helpful and friendly. The beds and lotions are great! They are doing some remodeling which is a pleasant change to the somewhat dated decor before. I love the air conditioned sun bed in the back and the crazy big one in front - looks like a time machine!!! There was a light out one time and after letting the staff know they were more than accommodating and when I came back the next day it was fixed just like they said. This place is a little more expensive than I was used to before, but definitely worth every penny. By the way, when they push the package, take it! It saves quite a bit of money in the end and they are good for a year - more than I can say for the last place I went!

My god is this place old!! I had to see for myself after hearing so much hype about celebrities and how busy it is. It ends up, its not. Maybe one or two showed up on accident but its soooo not what its racked up to be. Machines were old and beat up, 2 of the lights were out!! Thank god I only bought one tanning session...and it'll be the last. Not the best service either, the girl was dead rude, had nabsolutely no answers to my questions. Blah!
