Terrible place. Huge, sprawling, and packed. not helpful that you can park your car inside. Still have to walk alot/or drive from spot to spot. Many many trees not ripe last week of september. Have to wait on one long line for tickets for kids to do anything (pony ride, hay ride, unimpressive maze). "Kids"music involved 50s music and inappropriate questions for prize ("what do you call an ugly girl in nj? a grenade. my 2 and 5 year old don't watch jersey shore for a reason.) The worst part might be that they SEARCH YOUR CAR when you are leaving. I'm talking in and under stuff looking for smuggled apples. DON'T GO HEAR ESPECIALLY WITH SMALL KIDS

I've visited Maskers Orchard twice - this will be a short review but I have to totally disagree with the IAMDORA review. There are many varieties - more than a dozen. The ripe varieties are clearly marked, you can drive right up through the rows so you don't need to lug a half bushel around. Views are spectacular, especially towards the top. We bought a half bushel of prime reds and macs - only things ripe this early - and they are very tasty - made some apple crisp that didn't last but a few minutes... I want MORE!
We also got cider that was as good as it gets, with cakey cinnamon donuts .... under 5$ for half dozen, the pizza was very good, large slice for around 2$

An earlier review said it gets very busy on weekends - this is true as it is a very popular stop. Over the years we brought our daughter here- great family place - they have music on weekends, pony rides, a maze, nice old time feel and very hospitable folks.

Plenty of apples, plenty to do, family friendly. Beautiful location, $25 half bushel (22 pounds) of apples.

This is a very good orchard. We have been going for the last 3 years and love it. Great for the family.

Word of caution. If you go on the weekend, it will take you a long time to get out of the orchard. That said, definitely worth taking a trip.

We went to the Fall Festival at Masker Farms this past October.

As pumpkin patches go, it was ok. We found the food prices to be exorbitant ($5 for a slice of freezer pizza?) The horse-drawn carriage price was more than it was worth.

The atmosphere was nice and the apple pie we bought and brought home was fantastic. Everyone was friendly and there was a really homey feel about everything.

Parking was confusing and there was a long walk to get to the actual festival, which was interesting with a toddler in a stroller and an infant in a wrap on my chest.

We probably wouldn't go back again.

I decided to try Masker's because I got a coupon in the mail for a free apple cider with a purchase of bag of apples. Big mistake! We passed plenty of orchards before finally making it to Masker's. We went on the weekend and it was totally packed, which is to be expected. My biggest complaint was the parking, when we got there we had to park in between trees, where people were actually apple picking! The orchards are huge, so we had to make sure we remembered which trees that we parked in between. There were slim pickings on the trees, that we started to look for apples on the ground!! When we got to the very top of the hill, which seemed to take forever with kids (and trying to keep them from getting hit from cars driving around looking for a place to park), the trees had apples on them!!
