The Indianapolis Museum of Art is a great place to spend an afternoon. The exhibits are attractively displayed, the building is lovely and the grounds in excellent condition. We have often enjoyed an afternoon of browsing the museum, wandering the grounds and then having lunch at Puck's. A very fun way to spend a free day.

Indianapolis Museum of Art is a great place to visit whether it is your first introduction to modern art, or you're an expert. Their special exhibits almost always focus on one artist, and are always well done. The permanent collection, though small, is carefully selected and displayed in a great setting. While you're there, be sure to check out the gift shop with all sorts of well-designed, interesting items.
