The apartment I live in is wonderful, and the others I have seen are nice as well. Good neighborhoods, quiet buildings, all repairs are always made.

I've lived here for 3 years, and just signed my forth lease. Unfortunatly I have had the pleasure of finding a new roommate each time. (It's a two bedroom) each time has been a nightmare getting the other person on the lease. And it's never the same problems, it's always a bunch of new ones. The first time they claimed they never could get ahold of my new roommate to sign the lease, though according to his phone, they never tried. The second time they also could not get ahold of my new roommate to sign the lease, because they waited a month to call her, even though I gave them the dates she would be out of town, that's exactly when they called her, and blamed it on her. When she did come back it still took a month of both of us calling to try to straighten out the lease. At one point in time, she had mailed in her application a week before, she called to see if they received it. They said yes, and that everything was taken care of, and not 10 mins later someone from the office called to tell me they had never heard from her. When the lease itself finally came in the mail, it said our rent would be $850 instead of $920 that it was supposed to be. We signed it and sent it in without pointing out the error, we figured that was our reward for having to deal with that.

This time, since my new roommate lives in Chicago already (the other two were moving from wisconsin) they wanted us to come in together in person to fill everything out, over several trips (because you can't apply and sign in the same trip) not caring that my roommate and I have completely different schedules. At one point I was told I had to come in in person to turn in the security deposit. (which they had the amount wrong twice) Upon arriving I was told that I didnt need to come down in person. They also told me the wrong date that 1st month's rent would be due.

They called me when the lease was ready to be signed asking when me and my *current* roommate were going to come in and sign it - not my *future* roommate.
