This store sells Ahava Dead Sea beauty products. Ahava makes its products in an illegal settlement in the Occupied West Bank of Palestine using resources that don't rightfully belong to the company. When you buy Ahava products you help finance the destruction of hope for a peaceful and just future for both Israelis and Palestinians. For more info Google ??stolen beauty.??

I went into this store accidently. I was actually on my way to Sephora, which is next door. My intention that day was to buy a T3 blowdryer because I had heard so many great things about it. When I went into this store Essentials I was so amazed at all the cool stuff they had. It is truly a woman's shopping mecca. I happened to see the T3 and noticed it was $60.00 cheaper than next door. I had asked the sales girl if this was possible and she said yes. (Sephora is practically full retail on everything) I started to ask the sales person for help and she was great! She gave me all the details about the applience and even took the time to answer my questions about other comparable dryers. Needless to say, I was extremely satisfied with the knowledgeable sales people and I walked out of there with a T3 Featherweight dryer, a Chi flattening Iron and a set of Babybliss hot rollers. They had some great items on sale in the front of the store and the sales person was very patient in helping me pick out what was best for my hair type. It is not often we find such patient and knowledgeable staff. I highly recommend this store. Still love Sephora's cosmetics though.

A friend of mine had told me one day about a styling product that she was using and recommended it to me. She told me she purchased it at Essentials, so on my lunch break I figured I would stop in and buy the item. Once I got in, of course, I forgot the brand name and could only remember the bottle my friend had showed me. I went to the sales girl and sure enough, she new exactly what i was talking about just by the description of the bottle! She showed me the product, as well as other comparable products that would be good for my haircut and style. I was surprised by her wide knowledge of the products, considering the fact that they carry a very wide variety. She was a very sweet girl, as were the other girls, who occasionally would overhear and suggest their favorite products and such. Long story short, I had an amazing experience there and ended up buying much more than I intended!

Went to Essentials for the selection of flatirons. I was told that the appliance was final sale by a sales person & took the item home. Turns out that the sales person (actually ended up being the manager) told me the wrong specs on the item. Went back the next day to see if I could return the item & was told to come back when the same manager who I purchased it from was there. So I went back today & was again turned away because the manager had called in sick. Still have not been able to return the item, only offered an exchange of equal value (in other words I will likely have to SPEND MORE MONEY here). Will have to go back tomorrow (I will update you on how things go). DO NOT GO HERE!! EVEN THOUGH THE SELECTION MAY BE BETTER FOR SOME ITEMS & THEY MAY HAVE A WIDER PRICE RANGE, YOU ARE BETTER OFF GOING NEXT DOOR TO SEPHORA!!
