It seems that every early childhood center says that they provide children with a warm, loving, fun environment that focuses on the educational and physical development of each child. At Smarter Toddler we go a step further. . . The caregivers, teachers and management believe that the Artistic, Cultural and Social development of each child is also essential. At Smarter Toddler we recognize and encourage the amazing potential children have to learn. Whether your child is “very active” or shy, our teachers will custom design activities that work best for them. If you feel that your toddler can benefit from a more stimulating environment, call us today to arrange a visit. Smarter Toddler accepts students from infant to 5 years. Choosing a nursery or preschool is one of the biggest decisions you will make, which is why at Smarter Toddler, you will find a great service and fantastic care and education for your child.
We have been attending ST for almost a year since my son was 3 mos. The care in the infant room was just super-loving and attentive-just what a new working mom prays for. The space is absolutely beautiful, music together comes weekly and now there is yoga! He has now moved in to the toddler class. Its only been a few weeks but so far so good.

Our two daughters have attended Smarter Toddlers since they were 3 months old. Everyday, they go outside to stroll or play; physical activity is always encouraged.Healthy eating is promoted in a positive way and teachers work with parents to give children healthy eating habits from the start.Countless activities challenge children so that they learn words, letters, colors, songs; this definitely prepares them for pre-K while teachers guide us in the schooling system / options.Personally I believe that children also benefit from social interaction, developing their own friendship, as well as being "motivated" by competition in terms of eating well, potty training, washing hands, tying shoe-laces, etc! Finally and most importantly, the quality of teacher, patience, love, creativity, dynamism is outstanding.I doubt that I could have afforded a nanny matching the quality of teachers as well as the curriculum at Smarter Toddler.

My friends have been telling me about how great Smarter Toddler is and i was a little doubtful until we got in and we saw that it was better than we had heard. There is such a community there. Although we are at the 89th street location, I recently toured the 55th street location and was blown away - Wow! - amazing space - I wish I was 2 years old again - LOL!

I don't care how long it takes for the new Smarter Toddler to open I will be there with my child when they open. I have toured many daycares and preschools that are simply ugly and not stimulating. So I am very excited about my daughter starting at Smarter Toddler. Nothing in New York City looks like Smarter Toddler. My wife and i have renovated 3 times and each time their were delays and set backs so i know what the Smarter toddler management are going through.

I went in this morning for a tour of W89th-actually, I want to sign up for West 55th (a new center opening in September). Each classroom was doing circle time and all the teachers were involved in the circle time and the children were interested in what was going on. I was told the preschool room was going to the MET to see the Degas sculptures as part of their learning week. Even though I didn't get to see the W55th location, there was a picture up of what to expect. I can't wait to see the real thing.
