I received a gift of a couples massage at the Hotel Hershey from my boyfriend a few Christmases ago. We took the day to get our (wonderful) massages, relax and read in our robes, and eat a delicious buffet lunch. The amenities at this spa are awesome and you can hang out the whole day, even if you only get one service!

We absolutely love Hershey park. The Hershey Hotel is pretty pricey. If you're like us & go for the amusement park, I'd recommend staying somewhere else

I went to this hotel with friends and was amazed at the service here. The staff is very polite and helpful and the hotel itself is gorgeous! This is a great spot for conferences or family vacations.

There is nothing negative that I can say about the spa. It is excellent and I would recommend this spa to anyone. The minute you enter the spa you feel a sense of relaxation. It's a must see spa.

Pros: The curtesy of all the workers.

Cons: Need more parking places closer to the spa

I attended the Hershey Hotel as part of a work function, and was really pleasantly surprised. Complete with a golf course and spa treatments, we really enjoyed outselves. They treated us well, and who doesn't love a chocolate fountain. The room was small, but nicely decorated. Steps from the Hershey Chocolate Factory.

I'm going to try and give the most fair assessment of this hotel that I can, but you should know right away, I was disappointed.

We flew in from Colorado to attend a wedding that was held at the Hershey Country Club recently, we looked at several hotel options, and decided to spend the money to enjoy a weekend at a more upscale property.

When you spend $400/night on a hotel you should be prepared for outstanding service, and outstanding food. After unpacking, we decided to the Iberian Lounge for a cocktail. The bartender acknowledged our presence, and his response when asked what wines by the glass was handing us a quite extensive wine list, as he coughed into his sleeve. Sweet!!

The food at this hotel, was very disappointing. The tomato soup with "basil croutons" was awful. It tasted as if someone opened a jar of Ragu and poured warm water in it. No basil croutons, just crackers...thanks a lot. The next day we had lunch in the fountain cafe, and minestrone soup was salty, and the Italian Pannini, at $12 was no better than a Quizno's Sub.

There is also construction going on the hotel as of this writing. Which was quite noticeable on Sunday morning when we awoke to the gentle lilt of a circular saw at 8am on SUNDAY MORNING!!!! That is how our Sunday began. I decided to walk down and get a cup of coffee at the coffee shop, and read the paper on the lovely outdoor deck. Bad idea...more loud construction noise. So my wife and I decided to grab some Sunday brunch. Well...as it turns out, the restaurant requires a jacket for service (this is supposed to be a resort area!) It appeared they were more interested in appealing to the local after church crowd than paying hotel guests...nice.

The Hotel Hershey is not for the seasoned traveler. This is the type of property that is making its money by overcharging working families that have saved their hard earned money for a vacation, and may not be accustomed to the type of service and hospitality that this investment warrants. Do yourselves a favor, bypass this hotel, save your money...and look elsewhere. Next time I need to spend upwards of $400 a night for a hotel...I'll look into a different town...and a better hotel, with a better reputation.

This place ROCKS! The spa treatments...oh so good. If you stay at this hotel, you need a massage or a pepermint patty wrap. Then go to the bar and drink some chocolate martini's and get some good chocolate for dessert. Absolutely wonderful. What a treat it is to stay here and indulge yourself. Love it, Love it!

The Hershey Hotel is a five star hotel in the Chocolate City. The hotel is located on a great golf course. The hotel has a spa, gift shop, and many amenities. The bar offers a large selection of top shelf liquors. The restaurant is great serving high quality food. A suit is needed to eat in the restaurant. The hotel offers many great amenities and the feel of the hotel is historic. You will not be dissapointed.

The hotel lobby is beautiful. It reminded me of being in town square with the big fountain in the middle.
The accomodations were luxurious, and the room service was very good! There were a few intimate lounges where we had a few drinks and talked the evening away.
The hotel restuarant was excellent. They had a very good wine list and the filet was fabulous!
The Hershey Spa is located adjacent to the hotel, and that too was a wonderful getaway. Massages, wraps, chocolate baths. Ahhhhhh.
We played golf on the hotel golf course, and although it was only 9 holes, it was very enjoyable. The course was in great shape, and it was no cake walk.
Great views and easy commute to Chocolate world and the park.
It was expensive, but we felt like royalty so it was worth it.

I have never stayed at the Hotel Hershey, but we have attended numerous events here, as well as having eaten at the restaurant a number of times. This is truly a world class hotel! The food is outstanding - wonderful, creative cuisine. And the banquet staff have been very on top of things at all the events I"ve attended.

This place is worth stopping into for the wonderful lunch buffet. The day I was there they had wonderful pork and seafood entrees, with cold salad and pasta items. The real treat is the dessert table, with several chocolate tarts, peanut butter pie and dense chocolate cakes. It's an excellent value at $18, in an elegant dining room which looks out on a 180 degree view of the back gardens. This is not a golf course, so ignore the ratings I put below.
