I've eaten at Tallula once before and visited the attached bar a number of times, but this past Saturday, a few of us decided to have a sit down dinner.

We arrived and were seated at a booth. The two of us at opposite sides of the booth felt squeezed as the table was too close to each of us. Unfortunately they were too crowded to re-seat us at a table. Later on after realizing nobody was behind us, we adjusted the seating ourselves and were comfortable.

The menu was small, about 8 entrees. All 3 of us narrowed in to the same 3 options. Each picked one and we proceeded. While waiting I had a most excelled infused bourbon. When the food arrived, we chowed down - it was superb (I had the duck).

I'm sure to return for dinner a few more times this year.

Pros: All of the dinner options were great.

Cons: The booth size was... small

I attended a Cocktail reception here at the Eatbar sid. The Bartenders were very nice, and the appetizers were so delicious! I even tried figs wrapped in bacon, which was interesting. The decor was very nice, with lighting that was not too low, and with plenty of seating. A great place for happy hours!

I had been wanting to try Tallula's, when the opportunity came up for a Saturday night dinner. The atmosphere and ambiance were just the right match for the delicious goat cheese ravioli and pepper salad starters. I had a wonderful scallop dish accompanied with a delicious glass of red wine from their well-stocked cellar.Tallulas did not disappoint!

The food a Tallula is out of this world and you can't beat the atmosphere for a quiet evening of fine food, wine and camaraderie! I went with a friend who was in from out of town and had a wonderful time. The interior is very attractive and the seating is arranged for intimate conversation. The staff is very knowledgeable about the wine list and will make suggestions for delicious wine and food pairings. We always enjoy Tallulas!

A rotating menu, but the chef always serves up a treat. The fun location make for an excellent night out. One of our favorites was goat cheese ravioli on one of our first visits. Since we have sampled most of the menu, an always been delighted. The wine selection is truly excellent, and is worth a visit on its own accord.

Half the fun of eating at this Southern-style and high-decibel eatery along the side streets of Arlington is wading through knee-deep crowds at the bar and, in the dining area, dodging waitstaff as they wheel past tables with loaded arms.…
