.

Frankly, these are some of the most delectable dishes in town. I love sauces, so many of these dishes feature full-flavored sauces. I've been to dozens of Ethiopian restaurants around the country, and this one has the best food. I keep taking friends (any excuse I can find) and they also love the food.

The vegetarian sampler is a great way to get a broad swath of flavors. (the sampler dish is a bit pricey when I eat alone but perfect for 2 diners.) The single dishes are a great value. My friend loves the chicken in red sauce (doro watt). I love the doro watt sauce, but I'm a vegetarian, and there's at least 3 or 4 veggie dishes served in a similar sauce. Oh, I also love and recommend trying the ginger drink.

Blue Nile Cafe has a simple diner environment for food that easily merits table cloths and candles. The casual atmosphere and the nice waiters are a plus. the injera bread is always warm. But if you just have to eat with fork, they're always very accommodating.

Pros: Dishes, Selection, Waiters, Speed

Cons: a little pricey for the veggie sampler. (when I dine alone which is often)
