I am no apartment snob, and yet this property management company irked me to the point that I would create a profile here to testify! I lived at Stoneleigh, their tenement building on 45 and Walnut. The cupboards were made out of what seemed like paper, they were buckling by the time we were leaving. Drawers for silverware and stuff broke THREE times while we were there. Our balcony had a broken railing that almost led to injury more than a few times. The whole apartment was tilted due to the age of the building and water damage to a few spots. And then, they tried to raise rent for the next year. Eject button please!

So I thought I was done with this, however, they decided to send the entire refunded amount of our security deposit to our roommate who moved to California. This guy is a jerk, and so I found out through the grapevine that he got the full amount. Why they decided to send all of it to one person far away without contacting anyone else is beyond me. That is why this property management company is beyond bad! Good luck apt shopping! ;D

I completely agree with the previous post. Green Street Property has been largely taken over by Signature Community.

If you want all the gory details, I suggest checking out the yelp reviews for Signature Community.

Overrun with rodents, management just doesn't care about anything that's broken within the units, completely non-responsive, and you have go GET RECEIPTS FOR EVERYTHING, any time you interact with them, because they are completely disorganized and lose everything, then send you outrageous bills and letters that evict you within 2 weeks (fyi, that's illegal, they have to give you at least 30 days). Then when you move out, similar things happen. You turn in your keys, but they can't find them, so they charge you $50. But it's not like you can turn in your keys again, right, cause you don't have them.

They are completely infuriating. Do yourself a favor and stay far far far away!!!

I wish I had more room to express my terrible experiences with Green Street Property management...I'm short, I would suggest not renting a property from them if at all possible.

From my personal experience, as well as the experiences of neighbors and a very close friend who uses Green Street, the properties are not well kept, maintenance is spotty and poorly done, and the prices are too high for the property.

I am thankfully moving out in 3 weeks, but my current property is completely taken over with rodents. My cat has caught over 20 of them THIS MONTH, and the property management is planning on leasing it to someone new right away.

Two years ago, they removed the radiators and installed heating/cooling units. However, when they removed the radiators, they left baseball-sized holes in my floors (in the main room and bathroom) which they never fixed, even though I asked on 5 different occasions. Finally I gave up and filled them with paper towels myself in hope to keep out the huge black monstrosities that were coming up through the holes.

Overall, the experience with Green Street was awful. Don't rent from them.
