Umbertos Clam House

Excellent place for having an Italian dinner. Delicious Italian food, prepared with the freshest ingredients. Exceptional food served up with class. I'm a big fan of their Lobster Bisque soup served with fresh lobster meat and baked clams. Umbertos is hands down the best on Arthur Avenue.

Exceptional food in very friendly atmosphere. I like the atmosphere better then Mario's or Dominick's. Cozy and one of the best dining experiences I ever had in the Bronx! The fried calamari, spaghetti & meatballs were fabulous. Service was friendly and quick with an extensive wine list.

Umbertos Clam House in the Bronx is a great Restaurant. Went with my girlfriend after the Zoo. They have great Seafood, Pasta, and Pizza, and,. Umbertos has special deals for Fordham students, Yankee fans,.A classic Italian meal with a cozy atmosphere!

I was truly impressed by Umbertos clam house's Italian seafood & service. Great ambiences, fantastic wait staff and wide range of Italian food and wine. I highly suggest Umbertos place for anyone who loves Italian delicacy.

My first time going to Umbertos Clam House on Arthur Avenue in the Bronx was for a birthday party. The food was excellent and the service absolutely impeccable! Appetizers being shared all around were the baked clams. For the party entree choices we were offered Chicken Parmigiana, Chicken Francese, or St. Peters Fish. I chose Chicken Parmigiana and it was literally the best I have ever eaten. Be it dinner out with friends or for an event, I highly recommend Umbertos!

I don't like to know a restaurant buy in this case be forewarned and save your monsy this is a MAJOR dissappoinrtment. Food was ineatable and had to be sent back; The sauce is so bad that I can't even describe how it tastes.

DO NOT EAT HERE. Go across the street to Dominicks or Enzo's and get a real meal for the same money.

Absolutely wonderful. The food was amazing, and the service was great. I really enjoyed the atmosphere at Umbertos. I never knew this place existed, but I am so happy we found it! We look forward to coming back again and again.

i ate here several times as a fordham student -- i had friends who raved about the place -- while it was fine, there are a number of italian restaurants on arthur ave that are much, much better. its draw is that its a seafood restaurant - but the other restaurants on arthur serve seafood, and if you're really craving it your best bet in the bronx is to head to city island anyway (opposite end of pelham pkwy). the service is nothing to write home about, but there was live music on a number of occasions which was enjoyable.
