Lame...$50.00...For four people and one game. My shoes had a cracked heel that almost fell off. I swapped them out for new ones and the lining was shredded!
Don't go there if you want to actually bowl, or if you know anything about bowling. The floor was sticky, and the lanes needed to be oiled. There were so many balls in the return rack that I had to shag a few balls to make room for mine. I finally just stood in one place and threw the bowl because I didn't want to fall on my face.
There was a group of twenty kids in the two lanes next to mine that never sat down. They were jumping around and actually in my lane the entire time I was there. They were taking pictures of each other and talking on the wood. I had to ask them to move or dodge them on the way up to throw my ball.
This place is all show and no go. It looks good, but needs a lot of work. It's like a Mustang with a Pinto engine.

I was brought to Lucky Strike just last night. On immediate entry I thought the space to be nice. My roommate and I grabbed a table and waited for the waitress to show up. 15 minutes later it was clear that she wasn't coming so we decided to play some pool while we waited. A half hour AFTER the original 15 and tracking down the whereabouts of our waitress through another waitress, she showed up to take our order. But...of course they were out of what we wanted so we made concessions. I ordered the Lucky Strike burger with bleu cheese. I received one with cheddar. When I asked for a side of bleu cheese instead of trippin about the mistake it took another 15 minutes, and a conversation with the manager (who was very defensive and rude) to find out they ran out of bleu cheese.

The place is poorly run and the waitstaff is sub par. You can go...but definitely dont go hungry and expecting to eat in any reasonable amount of time.

Lucky Strike is such a great way to bowl- I love how classy the whole place looks and feels- and the fact that you can spend some time bowling and then make your way over to the bar and enjoy some drinks and conversation was a great combination. It looked like there were some people at the bar who weren't even bowling! They were just enjoying the night life! I thought that was also fun.

After waiting 2 hours to get a lane, incompetent and rude staff, overpriced food and 2 bowling games we left the place. When I checked my credit card statement later - the waiter added around $40 extra tip for himself! I called them back to try to resolve this multiple times and they never called back.
Get rid of the management and horrible staff - maybe then it will be a nice place!

Lucky Strikes is a bowling alley with a dress code. An attempt at being shabby chic that misses. The food is pretentious as well as the bar. The bowling alley itself is unique and the seating is comfortable. Unfortunately, the cost of playing is as inflated as the dress code and the cost of food and beverages. If you really want to bowl, find someplace else. If you want to have drinks, shoot pool and see other people bowl...this is the place for you.

I have been to lucky strike a few times and I was just satisfactory with the service but my last time going last year i was very disappointed. Our waiter was terrible which is why she got a very low tip....she didn't keep refills of drinks coming and when we asked her for condiments she was very slow in response time by the time she bought the things we asked for ketchup and other things we were done with the food because we tired of waiting for her to come back.... when we got ready to leave the restaurant the manager comes running up and asks how the service was and i said it was okay but weren't pleased he then said then y didn't u leave her a tip.......i said we did it was low ...the waitress lied and said we didn't give her nothing.....the manager then yelled at us and told us not to return to the restaurant ......... what a way to treat your customers the crowd is good that goes there but the service sucks......I AM NEVER GOING BACK TO GIVE THEM A DIME OF MY MONEY NOR WILL MY FRIENDS...

Walking into Lucky Strikes, I was surprised to see how nice and clean it felt. It's located in the Verizon Center right off the red line at Gallery Pt. However, there is a dress code which I thought was odd for a bowling alley. White shirts aren't allowed and we went on Sunday were after 5pm no one under 21 is allowed. The price wasn't too bad-under 25 bucks for two adults(with shoes). Our waitress wasn't helpful at all and kept her arms crossed at all times. And she gave us our check before we were finished eating. The lanes are very nice and have huge tvs above them all. The atmosphere is very comfortable but also sophisticated. It would be a place were I would bring my friends.

Pros: nice atmosphere, very relaxing and clean
Con: horrible waitstaff, dress code
