Dr. Jonathan Halperin is an excellent cardiologist who has been Professor of Medicine at Mount Sinai School of Medicine for a very long time. He is the director of the Cardiovascular Institute at Mount Sinai. His particular interest is in stroke prevention and clotting disorders and was instrumental in work on the Stroke Prevention in Atrial Fibrillation (SPAF) clinical trials, sponsored by the National Institutes of Health. His clinical experience as well as research make him truly distinguished in his field.
