I picked this spot over Chili Thai further up on Ninth Ave. only because of ambience--Tiny Thai's was great. My friends and I were immediately seated and served a number of dishes....sans proper serving utensils, but that was ok. There really wasn't anything specific that I *disliked* about the place, more that I've had much better food elsewhere, in the city and in Brooklyn. My best advice? Don't make my mistake and dine at a place with great mood lighting.

Pros: Earnest service, great ambience, good pricing

Cons: Food is blah, fatty duck left us a little queasy

This is a wonderfully romantic and quaint restaurant. If you like thai food you will love this one. I was amazed at the attentiveness of the wait staff as well as the portions. There is plenty to split or take home for leftovers.

The food is OK, but the portions are miniscule and the service is horrendous. Would not go here again.

Cons: Service, service, service, and the small portions.

The food is really good. I used to order regularly and have eaten in a few times also. But NEVER EVER get delivery from the place. Their Delivery staff is super rude and dont even bother thanking on a 20% tip.

My friend and I were wandering aimlessly on 9th ave, none of the restaurants were fitting our yen (light food, not too expensive, comfy setting), and then we saw Tiny Thai and decided to chance it. Well, all i can say is GREAT green papaya salad, excellent satay, and the yum salad w/BBQ beef was fantastic. All the ingredients were fresh, all the dishes were bright and absolutely delicious. Fun decor (mod and cool but the place still has a warm feeling), nice staff, and even the wines were well chosen. I will absolutely go back.

We came to dine in at Tiny Thai because we read a lot of its review. Admittedly, The place was a tiny cafe but totally satisfied us all in delicious Thai food, warm atmosphere, chic decor and friendly service. I was so in love with The Panang curry dish..... to die for .... IT was so great. We will come back to NYC again

Pros: WORTH OF MY ANY PENNY AND CUTE RESTROOM

Cons: TINY

.

The spicy noodle was tasty, as well as perfectly spicy, (had a bite, but didn't make me sob).

BUT, seeing the waitstaff doing each other's makeup and hair right next to our table was a bit ill-mannered...and the waiter who should have used a tissue (instead of his hand) multiple times was concerning as well.

Also...the 210 pound guy I was with was had to grab a bite at Chipotle afterwards...beware hungry men...Tiny Thai has a very tiny steak.

My words cannot convey how good the food and service was at Tiny Thai Cafe. I went home and had cravings for their food again. It was very good experience, because we did not have to wait forever for a table or our meal. I highly recommend this place.

I went dining out alone at TINY THAI yesterday. I had a called " Spicy Noodle dish " in the noodle cafe section of the menu. The dish was to die for. It was rich in taste and yummy. I really love Thai food and I can tell this is a real good one. The place is small that why it calls TINY Thai. I guess.... I really will pass my word to those of my friend whom they love Thai food for the Tiny Thai. By the way, The restaurant is sleek and hip.

This young hipster Thai place brought us the pleasant evening after the great broadway show. Remarkably, The best Thai for the theater district, we enjoyed delicious Thai food here very much. It was a tiny spot but relaxed atmospher. The staff treated us as we were at home. Very friendly, and solicitously service. It was our first choice Thai and we made a right decision to visit this sleek Thai restaurant.

tiny thai is a nice cozy restaurant away from the usual crowded areas of manhattan. plenty of room which allowed me to properly enjoy my food. our waitress was very friendly and the food was good but the wait for the food to come was a little long (probably because i was starving, but worth the wait) i'd recommend this restaurant to everyone for the food and service but beware wait times for your dishes.

I went there with my date last night. Surprisingly, it was really a hip thai restaurant in town. It was really a tiny place but full of beautiful smiles. It was certainly a great service here. It was a touch of sincerity and care to customers beside the delicious food. My girlfriend and I would like to say Thank you to all of the staff at Tiny Thai for our special dinner that you made us a beautiful evening.

Nice scene but small. Good entrees but stay away from the appetizers and the pumpkin custard. I dont know who came up with this dessert but it was TERRIBLE i cant begin to tell you what it tasted like... They also have a very limited drink menu consisting of just beer and wine. Its the entrees and good service that make this place worthwhile.

When it thinks of the authentic Thai eateries in the west side dining scene, Tiny Thai is tops. It is really good quality Thai foods here. The salmon with capers, asparagus and roasted red pepper in panang curry sauce is a delicious entree that never fails to satisfy me. In addition to the generous portions and cool atmosphere its partrons may fall in love with this Tiny. Top-notch.

This Thai place is in the trend and fashion. It has a style with european feeling right down to its attractive modern decor. It's tiny but gorgeous and charming spot on 9 Ave. We have ate here couple times. The food is well priced and delicious. We are not trying to say This is the best but surely is the real star. The efficient service keeps things moving.

I was recommended to Tiny Thai by the W hotel's concierge on the evening. I had thrilled with the interior design of the establishment. It's cozy and modern. I ordered the atlantic sea ( one of tiny best dish ) it was a superb choice and lot of beautiful smiles from the service.

I ate many thai places in town including Sea, Planet Thailand, and Joya. I start to have another favorite in mind that is Tiny Thai on ninth avenue. The foods are tasty but not every item on the menu. I ate the very tasty Pad Thai last night. This easygoing inventive Thai is Hip.

Wonderfully exotic Thai restaurant, it is located in midtown Manhattan. We love this trendy and tasty Thai mini spot on 9 Ave. Admittedly, We love the called Tiny's best menu. We love the combination green. ( the combination of mixed vegetables cooking with thai chili herbs sauce) We like the chic look of the place so much. It's very simple design but stylish and unique.

i think that they advertise themselves as not just another thai on 9th, but i didnt find their restaurant particularly special even though the food was good. the decor (bright plastic colors) are more chic than the average thai restaurant, but it also strongly resembled places like peep or nooch. we ordered the seafood pad thai ($12.95) & the crispy red snapper (daily special, $16). the pad thai was good mildly spicy, sweet, & sour and loaded with seafood. the snapper arrived artfully curved around the vegetables. it was fried on the outside, but the inner white meat was steamed tender. we got thai iced teas with our meal, and that proved to be the only low point of the meal. the tea was overly loaded with condensed milk, so it was overpoweringly sweet at first, but it was followed with a slightly sour aftertaste.

I ate at Tiny tonight for the first time with a friend. The place is really cute--red booths, cute lights, dishes with polka dots. The food was all fresh, good, and had some choices that were a little bit off the normal Thai path. If you want a change from your normal mom and pop places, try Tiny!
