I have been going to Luxor nails for over a year and I have never felt more committed to a nail salon before. It helps that they are close to my home; but their salon is very aesthetically pleasing, and all of the techs who have worked on my nails have done excellent jobs. I never worry that I will get "the bad tech" or something. AND they are open Sundays which is hard to find. I just moved a distance away but plan to continue to go to Luxor.

I went in for a pedicure, and the nail technician took my shoes when I sat in the seat. Somehow one got lost, and they told me they were not responsible and were not at all helpful in trying to find it. I said I did not want to pay full price, due to the poor service, and they said I had to pay. The manager harrassed and bullied me and said he would not let me leave until I paid full price. I said I'd pay, but not full price, because it was such a bad experience, and because of my visit, I'd have to buy a new pair of shoes (they gave me an old pair of flip-flops a size too big to wear home). The manager told me I had 5 minutes to pay or he would call the police. They lost my shoe, but I was treated like a criminal for standing up for my consumer rights. The business would have been much better off had they at least apologized for my lost shoe and had talked to me in a kind, sympathetic manner, rather than a bullying manner. I will never go back, and I do not recommend that anyone else goes there. It is not a relaxing experience!!
