I had my second pup neutered there on 3/30/2011. They did a wonderful job and took very good care of my little boy! The staff are very friendly. You can hardly see evidence of the procedure. My little guy is up and about already! Thanks for you kind service and excellent care. They were highly recomended to me--and I will continue to do the same!
I have taken 3 of 4 of my dogs there to be spayed or neutered and have had wonderful experiences each and every time. The staff is very knowledgable and friendly. They called the next day to make sure all is well. I am very happy with them and wouldn't consider going anywhere else.
I had my cat spayed here about a year ago after she ended up getting pregnant. I waited until she was done lactating before i had her spayed (because there is an extra charge). Well a year later she still goes into a pseudo-heat and i researched and this happenes when the reproductive organs are removed completely. i don't know if anyone else has this problem, but i had her spayed so she would stop going in heat and making those cat calls, but it hasn't helped.
i have been useing this spay n nuter clinic for years and have never had a problem. On 3/5/10 i took 7 cats in to be nutered[i do rescues] on 5/14/10 one cat had to be uthenized because of an infection that had probably spiled into his blood. This WAS a heathly 9 month old cat.All the other cats are fine,my concern is on that day i called there @ 2:45pm to see how they were and was told that they weren't even done yet BUT i can pick them up @ 4:00pm. The reason was that they were " bombarded " my concern is that 7 cats were done in an hours time. A perfectly healthy cat is dead 8 days after being neutered there. Did they have too many to that day? And a mistake was made that i dont know. My vet could find no reason for his condition after doing a post op. They say they don't use any antibiotics during surgeries because it's a sterile environment. I'm sorry but red flags came up concerning this. I don't know whats to blame for this but i do know that a loving pet is dead 8 days after being there.
sincerely,
Donna S.
I'm very thankful that Spay Neuter Clinic has such low prices so people who care about animals can afford to spay and neuter.
I feel this doctor has a big heart for animals and their owners to provide such an affordable service.
The staff ran a tight ship; and even though the place was crowded, they quickly waited on each person in a competent and friendly manner.
My five kittens went in around 8AM and I got to take them home around 3PM that same day which was very important to me, as I wanted to have them back home as soon as possible in their familiar surroundings so they would not be afraid.
I am recommending this place to all the animal lovers I know!
I took my precious 10 month old Jack Russell/Beagle to the clinic. Princess is very submissive and sometimes timid. These folks were kind and reassuring to my pup and she had absolutely no problems. She was spayed, microchipped, vaccinated for rabies, parvo/distemper,bordetella, given pain medication there and for the next three days at home and had her nails done all for $159!! No kidding! It was amazing. The next day, the clinic called me to check on Princess. It has been 12 days now and she was up and playing the second day out. We have been watchful of her of course but the healing is perfect and she is doing great. Thank you to the clinic doctors and assistants. They are the best there is!
I rescued four feral kittens from my yard and took them to Spay Neuter Clinic this week. The office is not fancy, but the staff is experienced and caring. I was a very nervous and tearful foster mother, but the staff put me at ease and the kittens are doing great. Surgery ($28 neuter, $47 spay), vaccinations, nail trim and pain meds - total cost was $95 for the girls and $76 for the boys. My regular vet was going to charge $250 just for a spay. I saved a lot of money but more importantly, the cats are comfortable and doing very well.
I have a 4 month old Yorkshire Terrier that was spayed at the Pittsburgh Spay Neuter Clinic. Our original vet was going to charge us $340 and we were able to get it done at the clinic for $86. The office is not fancy, but is clean and the staff is friendly, well-informed and did a great job taking care of my baby. The vet even called the next day to ensure she was doing well. We would highly recommend the clinic to anyone else with spay, neuter, or vaccination needs.
This spay and neuter clinic is one of the cheapest I have seen in the area (especially if you have a cat). I took my male cat there, dropped him off before work, and picked him up after. They are very cut and dry (you go only for vaccines, spays, or neuters), but their client relations are excellent. They explain the procedure to you, offer pain medication for your pet afterwards, and have convenient hours and location.
