Golden Finger Nail Salon

The decor is not so good, but all the girls are really nice, especially Helen. She is very quiet but her skill is really good. She does my nails very carefully, and her massage is just amazing.

I had a problem with my nails and had gone to another nail shop previously. The result was not good. Tina, a cute little Vietnamese girl at Golden Finger Nail Salon repaired the damaged nails for me. I have never looked back. I see her almost every week, and she always gives great service. Tina is the cutest little girl yet she does nails like a much older professional with 20+ years' experience. She is so wonderful I give her a big hug and kiss whenever I see her.

I picked out a $7 bottle of OPI from their samples on the wall, painted my pinky nail with it. The guy behind the desk gave me a fresh bottle and then said I couldn't pay with a charge for anything under $10. Fine. I left, went to the ATM got the cash and went back, purchased the nail polish, drove home, parked my car and when I went inside looked at the color and compared to the sample on my finger it was a completely differnt color. So I called and told him and he said I could come back in and get another color. So I packed up my son, walked to my parked car got in and drove to the nail salon for now the 3rd time. When I went in I showed him my bottle compared to his bottle and sure enough due to sun exposure the salon's bottle was much lighter than the new bottle. I picked out a different color all together and he tried to sell me the sample bottle, saying it was a fresh bottle. I asked politely if I could please have a fresh bottle and he proceeded to tell me that he shouldn't be taking back the bottle at all, that this was the color I had picked out. I stood there arguing with him, saying, well it's not the same color and he kept saying it IS the same color! Well it clearly said it was the same color but unless you are blind you could clearly see it was a different color. All the while other customers hearing him argue, relentlesly with me that it was the same color and the big big favor he was doing for me by taking it back. I let him have the last word because he obviously needed it. But he lost 2 customers. Me and my mother, we were scheduled to go in there in a few days for a full set of pink and whites and pedicures. Whatever happened to the customer is always right? Why argue with me about this? I'm a real estate agent in the neighborhood. I know so many people that I will not recommend this store to and feel that anyone considering this place should know that their customer service STINKS! So I ask you Mr Manager...was it all worth it????????

I found Golden Finger Nails a couple years ago after making the rounds to all the nail salons in the area. This is by far the best place in Brookline to get a manicure or pedicure! I have not gone elsewhere since I first found them. I went today and, by pure coincidence, ended up with Amy (another reviewer mentioned her). She was GREAT! Her foot/leg massage was amazing! I have always liked Lilly, who is also good, but Amy far surpasses her. Of course, I probably shouldn't tell you all that because it will be more diffcult to get her if everyone starts asking for her!

Anyway, as for the salon itself, it is somewhat small, but everyone is extremely friendly. They have a large selection of polishes...including Esse and OPI....and the pedicure chairs are the best! They are actual massage chairs, not those massage pads on a regular chair. The prices are unbeatable and they actually take the time to give a good pedicure/manicure. Everyone freaks out about infection, but I have never had a problem here. I even brought my wedding party there prior to my big day to have our nails done.

I have now gone to Golden Finger several times and have been pleased. But, recently a new nail tech named Amy moved over there from a rival salon. She is, as of now, only around on Sundays and Mondays but is by far the best tech there. (She even has clients who followed her from the other place where she worked). I now have a reguarly apt. with her, and I would recommend that you get one, too!

When I initially walked by I noticed they had sign saying "The Best Nail Care" and was very skeptical. One of my friends has been a regular here and recommended it to me so I went try give it a try. I went to get a spa pedicure and boy was it great. I felt so pampered and when they massaged my legs and feet it was bliss. I love this place because I can come here to and relieve some stress while looking great after! Top notch job on my nails and I give them an A+ for service.
