A Show of Hands

I'm afraid to take my purse with me into this store because I'm afraid I'll spend too much... every kind of handmade object you can imagine is here... and many things you would never imagine. It's nice to know that, as you buy unique gifts, you are also helping local artists. Each item usually has a tag telling you something about the piece and the artist. I love this store!

The director of Del Ray's fantastic (and very popular!) fall arts festival, Art on the Avenue, just opened a new shop, A Show of Hands, featuring original works from many local artists. The shop has amazing finds and very reasonably priced, especially for original artwork! Perfect for gift/holiday shopping and a great way to support our local arts community!
