A Child's Place Preschool

Miss Patti runs a terrific preschool program with a 3 y.o. and 4 y.o. program. Each day includes singing and a craft and you could not find a more caring or well qualified teacher. She is certified and worked as a teacher before starting her own preschool program. The curriculum is both academic (letters, phonics, science) and creative (singing, art). You even receive progress reports with how your child is doing with letters, counting, colors and numbers.

My daughter LOVES it and many families are driving 20-30 min. just to keep their kids in the program after they've moved. Advertising is strictly word-of-mouth and yet she is always full! She offers a Tu/Th program for 3 year olds and a M/W/F program for pre-K with both a morning and afternoon timeslot.

They have multiple performance programs each year (I LOVE this aspect - it is so cute to see kids this age sing and perform!) Miss Patti is very talented musically and it is always a treat to hear the songs that the kids are learning (for Halloween, Christmas, Everything!)

The atmosphere is very welcoming and since the classes are kept to about 15 the kids get lots of attention. There is also an outside play area for when the weather is nice.

I highly recommend it to anyone who asks. The tuition as of this writing was $100 for 2 days a week (2.5 hours) and $140 for 3 days a week (this is the preK program).

PROS: Kind, Wholesome, Funloving, Music-filled and they learn a TON!
CONS: $100/mo is a lot as opposed to keeping your child at home
