Overall, Not impressed!.. They were way overpriced. I tried the shop based on the reviews posted, I had highlight/lowlights and cut, and felt they did no better of a job than an average salon!!. I paid almost 3xs more than I would vs the shop I normally go to, and the results were virtualy the same. I was disappointed with the outcome of the color of the highlights and the color of the lowlight has faded tremendouly!. Definately did not achieve the results I was hoping for! Also, I was not informed of any of the cost until it was time to pay! Unfortunately, my <EXPERIENCE> was not a pleasant one, and have no intentions of returning to a salon which is so overpriced!! Based on todays economy, I would definately not recommend them!

I had an appointment at the experience for a loose curled perm, i had never been there before. my stylist was Leo, he was extremely friendly, easy to talk to and did an absolute wonderful job on my hair. if i ever need a touch up or a hair color i will request him and keep going back. i had a great time there, i would recommend them to anyone!

I am so sad to see anyone had ever had a bad experience at The Experience. . Yes, they are pricier than other salons in town but so worth every penny. I just coordinated a cancer benefit for an employee of mine and Erica at the Experience put together such a great, wonderful and generous package for the benefit it was one of the top sellers at the silent acution for the cancer benefit! Everyone is always so welcoming and it is such a relaxing and inviting place to treat yourself. I can't see anyone ever bing rude or even unpleasant there. Maybe that person just had a bad day or still an over abundance of extra new-mommy hormones flying that day. Thank you is not enough to Erica and everyone at the salon who helped put together such a wonderful package for the benefit. It will always be my favorite place to get Girft certifactes from my huscand, and is always the first place I go to when I am giving a special gift. I do hope new mommy tries it again, and gives it another shot.

A friend recommended this spa to me months ago. I finally had a chance to go last saturday for a special pedicure. It was the best pedicure I have ever had and the scent I chose was strawberry/champagne. The staff was delightful and Tammy did a great job. My feet have never looked better.

My wife got me a gift certificate to this place for my 40th birthday. I really didn't want to go, but I'm glad I did. It's very nice inside and the people made me feel comfortable. The best part was my massage. I am now a regular customer!

While home for Christmas break, I visited thexperience for a facial and a manicure. My Esthetician was great about explaining everything to me, especially the products. The spa was very clean and relaxing. I will definitely return!

I love to go to high-end salons and spas to get my hair and nails done. While I was pregnant I received a $25 gift certificate from my sister to The Experience to treat myself to a little pampering. Needless to say, nausea kept me out of the salon for 3 mos. and then a hectic life with a new baby kept me out for 9 1/2 more months. So when I finally had a chance to get away I made the apt. and off I went. After a nice relaxing experience I went to pay my bill only to realize my gift certificate had expired 15 days beforehand. Erica, an owner, refused to allow me to use the $25 g.c. and was very very rude in the process. I will never return to that salon again. I feel as though she stole $25 from my sister and left me with nothing but disappointment. In my opinion the salon as well as Erica exercise very shady business practices.

I went here once, right after a really rough semester of nursing school. My husband agreed to treat me to a massage after I was done with the class. I looked forward to it, and I made my appointment here because another salon was booked for the week I could go. I had never been to Experience before, but I decided to try it, and I'm glad I did. The massage was good, but the facial I decided to add was even better. When I walked into the building, the vibe of the place was just awesome. I started to feel relaxed immediately! The whole staff seemed very pleasant, and I hope to go back soon and try out some more of their amenities. The prices were pretty much in line if not a little better than other spas, at least for the services I received.
PROS: Prices, service, ambience, staff
CONS: none

I continue to think that I can get a cheap haircut and it will look good. Then I end up going here to get it "FIXED" and they always do! So, fork over the cash and just get a good haircut. It IS on the expensive side, but every hairstyle they've done for me has grown out gracefully. Seriously, they fixed one of my WORST haircuts ever and I LOVED the fixed style, it wasn't just better, I actually continue to style it that way.
PROS:
CONS: cost
