ive been going to ryans since 1992 when they were over on central. they used to be a lot more helpful and sharpened the best blades in town. now it takes weeks to get your stuff back and i don't see the same quality work. their prices are now competetive with a lot of other mail order catalogues. doesn't seem to me to be as good of a deal. depends on what u need tho. i still shop there for some things. i am not impressed with their shampoos or their paw brothers line of tools. they do have a large selection of stuff, if they have it stocked. if you backorder something they won't order it unles its over 50 or 100 bucks.

I have used their mail order catalog and shopped in their "warehouse." You cannot take your purse or bag of any sort into the warehouse to shop and it is definitely not a "boutique" experience. However, if you know what you want the staff will help you find it and the selection is huge. Blade sharpening is also on the premises.

They have lots and lots of supplies at affordable prices. They also have a convienent warehouse so if you want to get your supplies yourself then you can. I have ordered from them and was very satisfied and will use them again in the future!

I like Ryan's pets. They have alot of grooming supplies and a great cat house that works awesome for Chinchillas! The warehouse is a little messy, but the staff is helpful and they know where everything is. They are always busy, but not too busy to help carry stuff to your car!
