I was able to go to this school for one year during high school. I had one of my best teachers Mr. Frank. She taught me how to read analytically and to write papers correctly. She set me up for my high school and college careers. I was also able to participate in great programs they offered. They have many award winning teams and activities. This school opperates on an A B day schedule which means you have 4 classes one day and 4 the next, which i liked instead of my other high school which was 7 every day. I think I might have gotten a better education If i woudl have stayed here.

My son goes to Grapevine high. Actually this school has been good for him, good grades, good extracurricular, and good teachers. The biggest problem that this school has is that it is located in what is considered a "rich" school district. GCISD has to pay in every year to "Robin Hood" supposedly so other schools can have the essentials for teaching. If that is so, than why do our kids not have enough books to go around? Why do we have the pay ridiculous amount for parking, activities, lunches, materials for classes, and even admission feees for events because they don't have enough money to go around for our own school?

PROS: Great School
CONS: Not enough money
