Epicurean Delight

I am a vegetarian and I'm very grateful to Epicurian for creating the custom vegetarian platters and to the fact that all their food is extremely delicious.because i am a vegetarian it is difficult to have lunch at school so i order the school lunches that are already prepared and they are FANTASTIC!!!!! perfectly portioned and have healthy varieties. I haven't had a meal that was not delicious. I will continue to use their service and enjoy their food.

My kindergartner LOVES eating lunch at school. His favorite is the mac-n-cheese and now baked potatoes. And I love that he is trying new things....and I'm not having to make lunches at home. My son in 3PK is a little pickier but seems to be enjoying his lunches as well. I'm hopeful that he too will start to try new things.

I have been trying to eat healthier for quite awhile and have tried the meal plans that are out there, frozen, not frozen, delivered, etc., without success. Then I found the godsend of Epicurean Lite. The salads are absolutely beautiful and delicious. The meals are amazing and I have not been disappointed. The fish is always impressive, the chicken and other meats are perfect portions, as well. My daughter is vegetarian and LOVES the fruit platter and veggie platter. The vegetables seem to be the freshest. I love the Thai wraps. Each meal brings different flavors into our home and I look forward to each week's selections. Another thing that makes Epicurean so unique is that I am able to choose which meals I want each week and the frequency of delivery. Thoroughly impressed with the meals and service and I plan enjoy these meals for a long time.

I really can't put any weight on the reviews I have seen- I can only go by the food service they provide to The Fay School. IT IS DISGUSTING!!! Neither one of my kids will eat it, and when I tried it myself I completely understood. My kids like healthy food, so its not that they want chicken nuggets--quite the opposite. I contacted the owner which seemed completely uninterested in providing anything healthy or tasty. Which leads me to believe that its not as healthy as you think, its just the small portion size that will make you loose weight eating here.

Pros: It comes to your door

Cons: Its not as healthy as you think! Its the size of it.

My husband and I eat Epicurean Lite every night! It was such a great find. After our kids left for college we were making horrible dinner choices. Now we have healthy delicious meals!

Using Epicurean Delight is a no brainer for me. This is gourmet food...delivered. Because it's low fat,
I don't worry about hurting my diet (if I had one). I have been ordering 2 to 4 lunches each week to eat in my office in Spring Branch. (Because I was one of their first clients (one of about 20 employees of a big brockerage firm downtown), they still deliver to just me, off the beaten path.
I love the Beef Stroganoff, the Halibut, Spagetti with meat sause, the best.
Check this out: An example of one dish I like is labeled "Basil Stuffed Chicken - Stuffed w/ Feta cheese & fresh Basil & Cavatappi Pasta and Broccoli Parmesan"
Whatever I order is delivered on Mondays and are good (kept in the refrigerator) until Saturday.
I sometimes order enough to take home for dinner. My wife loves the Tortilla Soap with Chicken.

If you are serious about dieting and like good food, you can't do better.

What a gift Epicurean Delight has been for my husband and I! After I went back to work after my second child, we realized we were not eating dinner until 9pm and we were making terrible food choices! I had ordered from Epicurean Delight about 10 years ago when I lived right near their kitchen, and the thought came to me that I should look them up again. I am so glad I did! We have been ordering the food weekly for about a year now, and it has been so helpful in getting us back on track for healthy eating. The food , which is all fresh has all been delicious too! I pick up the food on Mondays when I am near their kitchen, but they offer delivery service as well. I highly recommend Epicurean Delight! You will not be disappointed.

Pros: Fresh food, good portion size, delicious food, very convenient

Cons: Costs add up when you order every week, but I think it's worth it!

I have been with Epicurean Lite for almost a year. All I can say is what a convenience it is to not have to worry about cooking. When you get home from a hard day's work that really is the last thing I want to worry about. The food is excellent. Its not like NutriSystem or frozen dinners. You simply pop it in the microwave and you can serve on your own dishes and your family wouldn't know the wiser. Very beautiful meals. My favorite is the basil stuffed chicken. I always order extras. The food is easily freezable. Lastly, I've lost 10 pounds since I've been on the food coupled with excercise. The food portions are just right. It's not diet food. It's great food. I never get sick of it. There is so much variation to the menu.

Pros: Never have to cook; food delivered right to your door; easily freezable

Cons: can be expensive if it is all you rely on, but if you are rich then no worries!

I highly recommend Epicurean Delight!! They deliver prepared fresh meals to your house (back door igloo if you are not home). I have used them off & on for a few years. It is a perfect solution to busy families who don't have time to cook. They even have a kids menu. All you do it microwave for a minute or so & you have a well balanced, nice meal! A new menu for selection is emailed to you weekly & deliveries are on Mondays. The soups are fabulous & the dinners are great. We treat ourselves to the breakfast & lunch sometimes, too. We think it's better than a lot of restaurants. I started using this service in 2003 when I had my first baby & went back to work. It's the only way I survived juggling so much. I just had my second child this year & started back up on this meal service. It will help bring some order back to your house, in that you are saving a ton of time & have instant, healthy dinners ready! The food is great quality & you get to try out so many different dishes. My husband actually lost 40 pounds by eathing this & not snacking between meals. This doesn't taste like diet food, as it's really just nutritional food, I guess with less fat. I have recommended Epicurean Delight to many friends, who also love their food & the convenience of it being delivered to your house. Give it a try!

Pros: conveniently delivered to your house, healthy good tasting meals

Cons: Since it is all fresh, I'm not sure if you can freeze many things for later use
