Best Buy

Dear Best-Buy,

I bought a portable hard disk in your store: Best-Buy #354, Katy,
TX 77449, in March/14/2008, paid by my Mast Card. The Val number on my Receipt is: 0418-1104-5273-1812

For unknown reason, I was charged twice for that. After contacting with my bank, I was feed back with the sales records: the same item with two records in one minute.

Could you please help me to find out what is the matter.

Previously, I used to go to Best Buy to buy things almost all the time. Especially for DVDs and electronics. But now I am never stepping into this store EVER again!! I bought a Sony digital camcorder from this store. I notice they have the 15% restocking fee which was fine for me. But this product I bought, and the picture was fuzzy and lots of snow. Of course, if there is a DEFECT, the store should refund the WHOLE amount, which is stated in their policy. However, they refused to take it that it had a defect, and took my 15%, EVEN THOUGH I WANTED TO DO AN EXCHANGE for another one of the exact same one!! They still would of charged me 15% plus get another one. So HELL with that, demanded to give me all my money back, but still took the 15%. NEVER EVER BUY AT BEST BUY, more like CRAP BUY.

Best Buy doesn't really have that great of deals. They don't honor a lot of their own coupons or discounts. They make a lot of hidden stipulations regarding them so they are not liable for giving you the discount. That's false advertising if you ask me. You can get some good deals on appliances here though, without coupons or anything. Also, be sure you know what you're doing before you go here. The associates and employees here will not be able to help you much. I once asked an employee if he knew the difference between two items. He read the information cards to me...
