Bayshore Family Practice

I have been going to Bayshore Family Practice for over 16 years. I usually see Dr. Murphy and I've also seen his wife, Dr. Goodine, many times. They are absolutely the best - very caring and knowledgable drs. They REALLY listen to everything you have to say, take the time to thoroughly answer your questions or explain medical terms and are willing to try different approaches to an illness if you're not happy with drug side effects. If you have an idea of something that might work better or explain to them why you think their approach is not working, they will not treat you like "I'm the dr. and your an idiot, so therefore you don't know what you're talking about". They take the time to get to know you personally, which help them treat your problem if they can tell its stress related, etc., or they will ease any fears you may have about treatments/procedures you need to undergo.

I can't recommend a better clinic to go to because all the drs. and physican's assistants are held to the highest standard by Dr. Murphy and Dr. Goodine's example. They are all drs. for the right reason - because they care about people and want to make them well, they are not in it for the money,

This is the text necessary to allow me to post this as a "review" when this actually just a notice that the address has changed. This alpha-numeric fodder has been provided to post this. There was no other way (that I found) to ask for or post his update. Thanx for your time and patients (sic.) in this matter. Besides, I'm an employee and can't offer and unbiased opinion on this clinic...but I think it's great!!!

i have been using dr murphy for years. he is a very good dr and his nurses are excellant. sometimes i see his practitioners but if it is something serious i always see him. also when i have seen the practitioners they have called him in to take a look. i can call them and have my prescriptions that i take daily sent to me as i do them by mail. there has only been one practitioner that i did not like. my mom has told me for years not to use pasadena doctors but dr murphy has proven he is very capable and i feel very comfortable with him.

I am a patient of Dr. Murphy at Bayshore and see him and his assistants most often. My husband and several friends of mine have seen other doctors here and they are all very professional and helpful. The staff is courteous and professional and make you feel like they are there to help you. Even though the office is always crowded, it seems like they schedule well, as I never have to wait for long....doctors seem to run on time for their appointments. When we have had more urgent problems, the scheduling staff has always been good about getting us in quickly.
