I have been going to Bayshore Family Medical Practice for MANY years. Dr. Michael Gannon is my doctor, and he is excellent. I have recommended many friends and family to use him, and they have all been pleased as well. He is very kind and knowledgeable. One thing I especially like, is he treats the actual symptoms of the sickness, or disease, instead of immediately writing things off to weight, or some other outside factor. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a good doctor.

I have been Dr. Murphey's patient for many years. I am very happy with the way I am treated at the clinic. Everyone is helpful as well as friendly. If I am sick or concerned about my health, I see Dr. Murphy. If I just need my blood pressure checked and my medications renewed, I see Letty. This leaves Dr. Murphy free to see people who really need him. Letty is wonderful and understanding and very knowledgable about my medications. It's never a rushed visit when I go there. I'm always listened to and given the best advise I can expect.

I have always been treated well but have never seen the DR. just the Nurse Practitioner. My last visit I was charged 150.00 office visit. 30.00 flu shot and 30.00 for the nurse to give the shot. I won't be going back and I would advise people to look into the cost of this clinic. My wife sees a Dr. not the nurse in Pasadena and her office visit is 65.00.

hi, i wanted to share my expirence with bayshore family practice, the office manager is one of the most rudest people i have ever came across, it also seems as the office staff is scared of her, and will tell you that she states you do not call her on her cell phone when she is at lunch unless someone has died. i thought that was very offensive. doctors are very good, but afraid i will have to take my business elsewhere, because there are other good doctors out there without office managers that act like that,,,,,,,

My family has been patients of Bayshore Family Practice for as long as I can remember. We see Dr. Michael Gannon. Recently my husband had horrible back pain and numbness in his left arm and hand. Dr. Gannon was on vacation so he saw the assistant. A Steroid shot and pills were perscribed and he was sent for x-rays. Someone was supposed to call the next day with results of the x-ray which did not happen. My husband's call was returned by Dr. Murphy after hours and said that someone would call the next morning (2 days later). No call....my husband was in horrible pain and needed help. Of course, he called again and was very frustrated. Dr. Murphy proceeded to explain that he could not perscribe any stronger pain meds unless he saw my husband; however, he did not offer to schedule an appointment of tell him to come on in. Of course a disagreement insued and Dr. Murphy pretty much told my husband to find another Dr......However, I guess Dr. Murphy thought about his lack of patient care and had his assistant call my husband to come pick up a perscription and sent him for an MRI. My husband had C5-C6 in his neck operated on by Dr. Pakzaban 3 days later. He was in so much pain. Well, two days letter we received a letter that my husband or I are not welcome at Bayshore Family Practice any longer. I know none of this would have happened if Dr. Gannon was there. Dr. Murphy did not treat my husband well because he was not his patient. I will gladly find a new Dr. for myself, my husband and my children for that matter. Its a sad, sad situation that Dr.'s can get away with that type of treatment to a patient. It is a shame that Dr. Gannon only gets to hear one side of the story, Dr. Murphy's. I guess they have enough patients and do not need mine or my insurances money. Becuase, ultimately, that is all they care about really. MONEY not helping a person is severe pain.

My wife and I have been seeing Dr. Murphy at Bayshore Family Practice since the mid 1990s from the location in Pasadena on Vista and the new one off of Space Center Blvd. in Houston. Dr. Murphy is a fine doctor. The only problem I have with Dr. Murphy is that Bayshore Family Practice will toss you off to see one of his nurse PA's. My wife had problems with one of his PA's named Letty Cruz who screwed up her medications and had a very snotty attitude when my wife complained about the meds messing up her blood pressure. My wife then had to go to another doctor for her problems.

I have been going to Bayshore Family Practice for over 16 years. I usually see Dr. Murphy and I've also seen his wife, Dr. Goodine, many times. They are absolutely the best - very caring and knowledgable drs. They REALLY listen to everything you have to say, take the time to thoroughly answer your questions or explain medical terms and are willing to try different approaches to an illness if you're not happy with drug side effects. If you have an idea of something that might work better or explain to them why you think their approach is not working, they will not treat you like "I'm the dr. and your an idiot, so therefore you don't know what you're talking about". They take the time to get to know you personally, which help them treat your problem if they can tell its stress related, etc., or they will ease any fears you may have about treatments/procedures you need to undergo.

I can't recommend a better clinic to go to because all the drs. and physican's assistants are held to the highest standard by Dr. Murphy and Dr. Goodine's example. They are all drs. for the right reason - because they care about people and want to make them well, they are not in it for the money,

I am a patient of Dr. Murphy at Bayshore and see him and his assistants most often. My husband and several friends of mine have seen other doctors here and they are all very professional and helpful. The staff is courteous and professional and make you feel like they are there to help you. Even though the office is always crowded, it seems like they schedule well, as I never have to wait for long....doctors seem to run on time for their appointments. When we have had more urgent problems, the scheduling staff has always been good about getting us in quickly.
