If you have ever shopped at this great boutique and had the pleasure to meet JIM SHADE and his wonderful associates then you are a lucky soul.Not only is the shop filled with beautiful and interesting merchandise, you get years of experience and unending creativity.These kind of places are few and far between , so go enjoy it for yourself.There is always something new to see.He offers classes for those of you who are bead virgins, we all started somewhere.There are some beautiful pieces of jewelery available for sale, created at the shop, for those who don't want to do it themselves.So if you have not been there yet, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR,go pay JIM a visit.You will leave with a smile and a treasure.

What a fabulous place! It is ALWAYS a treat to go to Bead Atelier! There is such a positive energy in the place! Jim is such a marvelous person. He is always very friendly, helpful, funny and kind. He makes it an adventure every time you walk in the door! Talk about everything you could want in the way of service it is here! If you are an established bead artist, just beginning or have always wanted to try but dont know how to start Bead Atelier is the place to be! Jim and his staff have always been extremely helpful and patient with their guidance. When is comes to choices and prices they are hard to beat! I give Bead Atelier my highest recommendation for a truly wonderful bead establishment. It is more than a shop it is an experience and a pleasant, positive uplifting one at that!

to "Not Impressed" - I "found" Jim's Bead Atelier shop about a year ago on my way home from work. Jim and his team are so helpful. They are always willing to answer questions or make valuable suggestions.

After seeing a really cool beaded chicken displayed in the store, I e-mailed Jim asking when a "chicken class" would be offered. He replied by e-mail the next day saying a class was coming soon and if I couldn't wait that long he would try to set up a private lesson - now that's WOW! service!!! Sure enough - a class was offered within 2 weeks and Jim e-mailed a notice about the class - double-WOW! service!!! By the way - the chickens are way cool and the class was a hoot!

Please understand that life happens to everyone and give Bead Atelier another chance - you won't be disappointed. You'll gain valuable design knowledge, some cool beads and a truly PERSONAL bead store.

Jim lost his mother on February 1st of 2008 and has closed the store during his grief. He's very sorry that he missed your business and wants folks to know that this is not typically how our customers are treated. Please be patient. Bead Atelier will be up and running again soon.

This shop is a wonderful magical place. The colors and interior design is so very conducive to creativity. I was pleased that I could get jewelry repair and excellent suggestions and guidance from Jim. Its a place that my grandchildren enjoy as well as myself. Its a great shop at a great location. The selection and prices are unbeatable. I suggest you go by and see the beauty and feel the energy.D. Garrett

Always a fun and interesting experience for all ages with new things to look at. Even the floor is worth the visit!

Jim Shade is very helpful with advice and techniques for you to use. Great selection of beads and supplies for you to make your own jewelry or buy some off his beautiful creations.

Don't pass up this place.

I have been doing business with Jim Shade for the last 14 years POST BEAD ATELIER and I would follow him anywhere! You will not find anyone who is more willing to help you with your craft or work with you on getting what you need to make your jewelry! I love the family atmosphere and the prices there are competitive if not better than other bead bed stores! Jim can figure out pretty much anything you are trying to make or come up with an alternate way to make it! He is patient and kind and with people like me popping in for emergency maintenance it's a good thing!!!I have recommended his store to many people and will continue to do so!Dani aka Starr Doom!!!
