On April 27, 2012 I arrived at the Fantastic Sams located in Converse, TX (8455 Crestway, Suite 115) managed by Tommee Nicholes for a relaxer retouch.
The relaxing process itself was uneventful. However, when the chemical was being rinsed out my stylist noticed what she referred to as ??shedding?. She quickly called Ms. Nicholes.
Upon Ms Nicholes arrival however, immediately began attempting to blame me for the incident. She initially stated that it must be the ??cheap box dye? I had used. When I stated it was dyed at a salon, she then stated that it must have been because I had not allowed her to cut off the remains of a chemical curl that she had given me over TWO YEARS ago. When reminded that the relaxer was a retouch and only the roots, not the ends were processed, she responded with, ??Well, you must have done something wrong.? She then directed my stylist to give me a protein treatment followed by a deep conditioner.
It wasn??t until I approached the cashier to pay for the relaxer that I was informed that the total would be $30 over my original quote. It was then that I was told that I had to pay for both the conditioning treatments and the haircut. I should have been asked if I wanted to afford the additional cost and what that expense would be. Ms. Nicholes not only lacks people skills, but her business sense should have dictated a better attitude with her customers.

Pam is the semi-owner of Fantastic Sam's at this location and i don't know what the previous lady is talking about. Never have i received any kind of attitude but extremely helpful and very cheap. One time i forgot my wallet and the stylist gave me a coupon so i could barely cover the charge! That is great customer service! I would recommend this place to anyone and in fact i live way out by Sea World and still make the drive way out of my way for their excellent service and styling.

Never will I go to this place again. The receptionist was shown the coupon prior to hair cut and said nothing about it. After the cut when I went to go pay she would not honor the coupon she stated that it had expired which it had not, then claimed that they don't honor those prices - its a coupon it is suppose to be cheaper!! Then she claimed that I could only get my coupons at a certain location. The coupons states can be used at over 1200 of their locations. When I called and spoke to the manager she was not helpful either. I received RUDE attitudes and BAD customer service. POOR POOR service. It is a shame to lose a family of 5 over a coupon. Not worth the money spent!!!
