Dr. Campbell and staff have always been wonderful  5 Star Rating - World class

Our children (the furry ones) have been patients of Dr. Campbell and staff for over 10 years. We have always received excellent service and attention, even special care that has gone above and beyond the call of duty. We wouldn't trust our family to any other clinic.

I would like to say Dr. Campbell is great but....‎  1 Star Rating - Unsatisfactory

I have never met him thanks to the exceptionally poor customer service of the attendant.

I had been wanting to bring a bird in to get checked out, but my work hours and the office hours didn't match up for me to drop off my pet for a same-day appointment. Instead I arranged to bring her in at the end of the day (when I could make it down) to stay overnight for an appointment the next day. Unfortunately I was delayed in traffic (we live about 30 minutes away in no traffic). I had my wife call at ~5:40 (they close at 6) to confirm that we were on our way but having traffic issues. The attendent answering the phone (seemed unaware of the arrangement) reminded her that they close at 6... -- ummm ok, yeah that's why we're calling to let you know we're on our way if you could be so kind as to wait for us. We tried calling again at 5:55 to let them know we were still in traffic, but almost there - at this point we got the answering machine saying they were closed. We finally arrive at ~6:05 to find the doors locked, but the attendant still inside. She shouted through the glass that they were closed. I tried to explain that we called to tell them we were on our way to drop off the bird, but the attendant didn't seem interested or sympathetic. She just said that I needed to be there at 5:30! She couldn't have said this when we called at 5:40??? Seems like a poor excuse for not wanting to stay a few minutes later to help someone out. At this point I no longer wanted to have anything to do with this clinic. Much too uncaring of attendants.

Hope you have better luck if you try them... we don't think too highly of places that mis-lead and then turn away sick animals - we won't be back.

Response from this business:

A call to management would have been nice. Posted at: 10/11/08
We encourage anyone who is unhappy with any aspect of the hospital to contact Dr. Campbell personally. How else will we know if an employee is acting inappropriately? While there are some significant discrepancies in this story, it has resulted in some policy clarification with the employee involved. One of the things our hospital stands for is caring, PERSONAL service to our clients. In addition to providing top notch veterinary care, we try to treat our clients as friends, not just as customers, and continually go out of our way to help them, such as staying late when extenuating. We deeply regret that this customer received service that does not meet that standard.

Dr. Bill Campell and Staff - Parmer Lane and Anderson Mill  5 Star Rating - World class

Kudo's to Dr. Campbell and his staff (both at Parmer Lane and Anderson Mill). I have been with Dr. Campbell for 15 years +. He has always treated and provided the best care to al my furry children. Drs. Bill Campbell, Jenny Stein, Amy Clemmons and staff has helped us through some pretty difficult and tearful times. Dr, Stein worked with me for days around the clock to pull my little TeaZo through death's door - today he is healthy. Dr. Clemmons and Dr. Campbell tried to save Rusty, but in the end we had to let him go to play at Rainbow's Bridge. They were there to provide comfort and understanding right to the end and after. Dr. Campell has always been there wherever he was needed; whether it was for a kind word or one of compassion and understanding.I would like to say thank you for your kindness, care, and personal concern for my furry family. Parmer Lane Pet Hospital Review  5 Star Rating - World class

Dr. Bill Campbell and his staff have been seeing for our dogs for 15+ years and have ALWAYS given our animals excellent care. Dr. Campbell is very knowledgeable and it is quite obvious that both Dr. Campbell and his staff really do care about their patients. Recently, we had to euthanize our old Great Dane. Dr. Campbell and his staff were very considerate of her needs and our needs and helped us to give loving care and comfort to our Dane to the end.

Bil Campbell and his staff are great!  5 Star Rating - World class

The new clinic is beautiful, pleasant and clean, and everyone is friendly and helpful.

We saw Bill Campbell and his vet techs at their previous clinic for many years and we have complete confidence in them.

Bill is one of those vets who calls you after your dog has been sick or had surgery just to see how things are going. He is thorough and patient and explains everything.

My only regret is that their new clinic is on the other side of town from us, but for important issues, we do make the 45-mile trip to Parmer Lane.
