Silvianas European Skin Care & Day Spa

I was visiting family in Miami and my daughter and I decided we wanted to get pedicures. We checked citysearch and found Silvianas. I got a terrific pedicure and then Silviana gave me a facial package which included microdermabrasion, a peel and a nonsurgical facelift. It was amazingly relaxing and I have roascea so my face tends to be red. I told Silviana about this and she tailored her facial products accordingly. When everything was all said and done both my daughter and I were shocked and how much younger I looked. My eyes were completely ligted; two wrinkles between my eyes were gone and my neck was firmed. It was a wonderful girl day and I will be back!

I JUST HAD TO TELL EVERYONE ABOUT SILVIANAS SPA! THE SERVICE AND PERSONAL TOUCHES THAT I RECEIVED WERE EXCELLENT AND FAR BEYOND WHAT I COULD HAVE IMAGINED!!!! I HAVE BEEN TO SPAS ALL AROUND THE WORLD AND THIS IS THE BEST SPA BY FAR!!!! SILVIANA, THE OWNER, THOROUGHLY EXPLAINED ALL THE SERVICES AND WE DECIDED WHAT WAS BEST FOR ME! I have known Silva for about 15 years now. First, my relationship with her started in Glendale, California when I went to her for an eye brown shaping then back for many facials over the years during which we became friends. In December 2004, I moved to the East Coast & a few months later she moved to Miami. After I have tried a facial where I am, I never let another person touch my face! Needless to say, I missed her magic touch, her caring approach to skin care...Thank God, we kept in touch! Because, the best part of my vacation in Miami in December was to experience once more her divine hands working miracles on my face that was craving so much care. Not surprisingly, here what I got: A welcoming & soothing place, the best products that I am familiar with and of course, her knowledge, care, honesty, professionalism and her peaceful & soothing presence! While there, I was also treated to a great Manicure & Pedicure session with Jendry. What an experience! No wonder, Silva and her work together. They have the same work ethics: The best care & service for the clients! My face feels and looks so great after this experience and it is with great sadness that I went back home knowing that I have to wait another 6 to 8 months before I can have another facial. I want to move to Miami just so I can continue to enjoy her services! I am in Banking, working mostly with clients. I best service my clients by putting myself all the time in their shoes. Therefore, I am very demanding when it comes to service from others. The fact that I am still craving Silva's services after nearly 15 years is the proof of her top notch quality service! She is simply MAGICAL!

I started going to Silvianas about a year ago.. and it's been wonderful! From day one, she listened to my concerns and suggested treatments to clean up my face... Every time I go... my face feels and looks so much better! Also, you should try Jendry's manicures and pedicure... they are amazing!

Silva takes a personal interest in your skincare and overall well-being. Going to her salon is a relaxing and friendly experience. Her facials are customized and she targets problem areas and you leave looking better than ever. She concentrates on the areas you want her to and never pushes products. Brow shaping is the best and I have been to many salons in Miami, New York and Washington DC. Gen's manicures and pedicures are flawless!

I have had a facial in almost every single spa and boutique in Miami. After I had a facial at Silvianas my skin is incredible. I first went to Silva because I found her on citysearch. I called and asked a trick question - I being a faithful facial-getter and amateur connoisseur- Silva responded with the utmost authority on the matter and I fell in love right then and there. I couldn?t make it to her on the times she had available so she made some magic happen and squeezed my first session in right after that initial call. I?ve been seeing Silva every 2 weeks for a 1 and a half and my entire office goes to her as well after my ravings! I had a significant acne problem which she completely wiped (no meds) and most importantly for an up-and-coming magazine editor: she has never tried to squeeze me for my money. She always gives me what my face needs and tolerates. I?ve even gone on a tight budget and she still works miracles with a minimal investment. The best thing is, Silva is very genuine and honest. We were in Miami from overseas for medical appointments and I needed to destress. After checking all of citysearch I chose Silvianas. Silva is fantastic! The salon is clean, profesional and friendly. I am very picky about places and have visited some of the top salons in DC after living there for 3 years. This was better than all of the salons I visited in DC!!! Gentry was the nail tech and she was great! If we are ever back in Miami I am going back.

My sister-in-law and i booked for a relaxing afternoon of treatments and were delighted with everything. Silva is very experienced and knowledgeable about skin and gave us both an excellent facial as well as lots of tips for better skin care and samples of products ( so we didn't get talked into buying before we tried). Elizabeth was a very skilled masseuse , we both had deep tissue massage and felt great.
This is a small and friendly spa with expereinced professionals which we can highly recommend.

I recently treated my friend and myself to a spa day at Silvianas LLC. It was our first time there but definitely not our last. We were so lucky to find such an amazing place. It was like having a day with friends, even though we had never met the ladies who work there before. There is not the usual hustle and bustle of overcrowded Salons; Silviana makes sure never to book too many people so that everyone is guaranteed to feel special and unrushed. It was a truly special day. The parking is really not a problem; there is a lot behind the spa that you do not even have to pay to use if you tell them you are going to Silvianas. Best of all, I am 4 months pregnant and since I called ahead to let Silviana know, she made sure to have the masseuse who specializes in pregnant woman come in to do my massage. It was heaven on earth! I HIGHLY recommend to any pregnant woman to get a massage at Silvianas! Everything was fabulous, the manicure and pedicure were delicious and the facial left me feeling as fresh as a baby. It was an amazing experience; one I will be sure to repeat in the near future.

I was recently in Miami/Coconut Grove area for our good friends wedding. I decided that since our wedding anniversary was around the corner, I would surprise my husband with a spa day (not knowing how he would react). I went on Citysearch and read the most amazing reviews on Silvianas Day Spa. The moment I called to make the reservation Silviana was so friendly and willing to please. My husband was surprised and enjoyed every moment of it. He can't stop talking about it and loves showing off his nicely pedicured feet. Seriously, when our friends/family ask us about our trip, the spa surprise is the first thing that comes out of his mouth. We both had the best facials from Silviana; the best deep tissue massage from Diana; and the best manicure/pedicure from Jenny. Not only were the services amazing but the staff was one of the friendliest and nicest! I've visited many fancy and posh spa's but this one tops for being quaint with great service and customer attention. It is a small spa but that is what makes is so special. Silviana is always there to make sure her customers are content. I can't wait to go back to Coconut Grove in the near furture and will definately have another wonderful spa day at Silviana's.

I had taken my teenage daughter to a dermatologist and a few facial spas and her skin did not show much improvement. I remembered that one of my friends had told me about Citysearch, so I decided to look for the best facials in Miami and there was "Silvianas". I read the reviews and made an appointment.

The very first facial that Silvi did on my daughter was amazing! My daughter's face positively glowed and her skin improved about 150 percent. Just as important, my daughter was extremely happy. It took a while to drive back home to Kendall but it was well worth it!! Every once in a while she would look in the mirror to see her face. She told me it was the best facial she had ever had. She also commented on Silvi's sweetness and kindness. My daughter has been receiving compliments on her skin since the first facial with Silvianas. She is now on her third facial and her skin looks amazing!

One of my favorite things about Silvianas is that Silvi does not push the products on you. She even gives you samples to try at home, and if you like them, then you are welcome to buy them. She never says you have to buy this or that. I am always the one to ask her what she has used on my daughter or on me.

There is a peacefulness and friendliness about this place that we both truly enjoy.

Also, the pedicures and manicures at Silvianas are amazing! Jenny has done a couple of pedicures so far and my feet always look wonderful and there is an extremely marked improvement.

Regarding parking, I don't find it to be a problem. I just go and park at the parking lot by the Coconut Grove Theater. I pay $3 on those automatic machines, put the ticket on the inside of my front car window. I walk through the chain link fence door which is almost immediately behind the building where Silvianas is located. You can also get an amazing cuban coffee a few steps away at the corner.

This place and these ladies are treasures!

This place is great; a very professional yet calm environment. She is great at facials, which is her specialty. She also takes the time out to make your eyebrows look perfect every time! Manicures and Pedicures make you feel like a queen because there is only one chair there so all the attention is on you...it is never loud or crowded which is what you get most of the time at salons and spas...this place is a diamond in the ruff!

Before I came here, I used to drive from Miami to Boca Raton every 2 weeks just because I was afraid to let anyone else touch my eyebrows. But Silvi actually does them better!! I was pleasantly surprised- the ambiance is great, it's a really cute place, never crowded or loud.

Everyone out there I just want to tell you about my personal experience at this spa. It was better than I expected! I never thought I would ever say this but the service was FLAWLESS. As soon as I placed a foot in that place I was treated like family. Silva is the owner. She is very attentive and has such a way with people. She served me green tea ( I had a variety to choose from ) and cookies. Well, lets cut to the chase, the manicure was marvalous and the pedicures are superb. I had my hands and feet done while getting a massage, listening to soothing music and having a chat with Jendry. She is the nail tech maven. I just simply love her work. She knew exaclty what she was doing and made my hands and felt feel softer than a baby's bottom. As for Silva, she showed me her room filled with accomplishments. I was astonished to see ALL her achievements throughout her career. I feel that it is a must for me personally to return for a facial. If you see that room you too would have no doubt in your mind that she someone you would trust with your face. Trust me I would not waste my time doing this if i was not so grateful and exremely satisfied with my visit. Do yourself a favor and treat your body, it deserves it. Oh and by the way the prices are fair. The place is immaculate, and is the epitome of what a real spa should be.

Our home is in Boston, MA but we spend a lot of time in Miami at our condo. We have some of the best spas on the famed Newbury Street in Boston but none compare to Silviana's! I am so happy to have found this fabulous spa. So far, I have had a facial, my eyebrows shaped and a manicure and pedicure. Silva (the owner) is amongst the best in the nation (she is a Beverly Hills transplant) and her gracious personality is such a plus in an industry where attitude sometimes overrides quality. You will absolutely not be disappointed!

Let Jendry introduce you to what a real pedicure should be -your feet literally transform under her meticulous care. You'll be constantly staring at your feet!

For massages-Yusell is a must! His gentle approach and technique is sooo soothing that you'll leave feeling drugged and hooked forever. He'll also work with you to customize your experience. Try the heat pad massage-delicious!

For facials, microdermabrasion etc. put Silva's years of skin- care experience to work. Quite honestly, after years of trying to find a place in Miami for my skin-care needs, I will have no-one else touch my face.

Silvianas is small and intimate. Silva's charm and hospitality makes you feel like you are in the comfort of your own home.

I've tried all the dermotologists and top spas and Silvianas is by far the best experience I've had. I found her off of Citysearch one day I needed urgent help and she made time for me, unlike other salons where they make you wait forever for a spot. She takes the time to explain everything and her treatments and recommendations on skincare products and make-up were right on target. She truly pampers you from the moment you step inside, its a relaxing atmoshpere that makes one feel at ease and you confidently place your face in her hands. My skin is better than it ever has been. I am long over due a visit and I cant wait!

Tthis was my first time ever going to a spa and it was just like I've read in the reviews. The spa was clean, the staff was professional and the prices were reasonable. By the way, Jendrey gives the best pedicures, Daniella the best massage and Silvi awesome facials. So I'd recommend everyone to have one of each for a truly relaxing experience. You won't be disappointed.

I had been searching for a good place to get facial done for a while, when I happened to find Sylviana's on Citysearch. It was highly recommended so I thought "Go for it". I was sooo happy when I got there and saw that all of the wonderful things people had previously written were true. In Miami where you can get a"facial" from your neighbor or your nail tech, this place is a real find. Sylviana is extremely knowledgable and professional, her walls are covered with her credentials and you really feel like you are in good hands. I trust her completely, so much so that I had both my Mom and Sister go see her, we've all had great experiances. She is always patient and wiling to explain anything you may have a question about. The only con is the parking situation, but that's to be expected especially at the Grove. You won't be sorry if you go hear and your face will thank you.

This is the first time I rate anything or anyone but the service and attention at Silvianas is so outstanding that I wanted to take the time to support this fantastic place. I have had facials and eyebrow shaping done here. In a city like Miami, where little underground salons are a dime a dozen, it's wonderful to find a beautiful and clean place that does things by the book. I love Miami. It is my home. But it has been very difficult to find a reputable salon here. I was tired of getting my nails done or eyebrows waxed in someone's "florida room" or Garage. I was looking for cleanliness, knowledge, professionalism, kindness, & attention. I have found it all here. And never once have I been rushed through any treatment. I look forward to trying everything Silviana's Salon has to offer. She has found a loyal customer in me.

I am a spa junky and Sylviana's feeds my addiction! If you want to be pampered by true professionals, this is the place to go. Silvianas was able to study my skin and know exactly what was needed for my face. They carry product lines that you cant get anywhere in the area. What I love most about her establishment is how clean and organized everything is! I have gone on various occasions and it is always kept up. Silva is always very professional; she explains what she is doing with passion and has a vast knowledge of the skin care field. You can tell she cares deeply for her clients and each person individual skin care needs.

I've been going to Silviana's since she came to the Grove almost two years ago and am a die-hard fan. One look at Silva and you can tell she is an expert aesthetician -- her skin is fabulous!
There's no one else I would trust with my face.

Silva has an innate sense of what your skin needs and will take all the time necessary to make sure you look your best. She also carries top-shelf product lines (found nowhere else in Miami) that have done wonders for my skin. On top of that, she is a magician with a pair of tweazers! My eyebrows never had it so good. AND she makes sure her manicurists share her finely honed aesthetic.

Silviana's is a beautifully designed space that is a treat to the senses and instantly puts you at ease and in the mood to be pampered. Case in point: whenever we get into a fight, my boyfriend sends me there because he knows I'll come home in the best mood!

Silvianas was great when my mom came to visit and we did a mother/daughter trip to the salon. We got manicures, pedicures and our eyebrows shaped and had a great experience for a moderate price. In Miami, you never know what to expect so we were pleasantly surprised! The salon itself is intimate, modern and well-lit, with a very clean look. The downsides are 1. there is only one lady who does nails, so if you are there with a friend, be prepared to read a magazine while waiting and 2. Parking in Coconut Grove might be crowded at times. Both things that are fine as long as you know before you go! Silviana's expertise is skin care so she was very knowledgeable and gave great recommendations. I'm not a regular salon-goer, but my mother is, and we both walked away with great nails and eyebrows.
