We went to Camden House last night. We were a party of 15. We all ordered drinks., and not even one of us got what we asked for. someone ordered Whiskey and got wine instead. Another one got martini and he actually ordered beer. I ordered a bottle of Cabernet, for myself and two friends, and they brought Merlot, when I told the server, he became very rude and said that he's going to bring us only half a bottle of Cabernet, I mentioned that we have not even taken a sip of the wine and want it replaced with a full bottle, at this time he grabbed the glasses and the bottle, left our table after about 20 minutes, sent someone more rude to throw the glasses and the bottle at our table, similar incidents happened to our dinner also. I would never go back to this place and don't recommend it to anyone.

Camden House Beverly Hills, the flagship restaurant of the Flame Rresturants , continues to set the standard for Persian cuisine, service and style. Flame Chef Zahra Mostashari creates great menus that showcase the best of kebabs , many diffrtent rice including cherry rice and stews in a sophisticated, elegant and warm environment. I went to Camden House since I read that Flame brand is one of the 99 essential resturants by L.A Weekly.

My husband and I love this place. Food is great and the people are very friendly. We go there 1-2 time a week and have good time. We LOVE the entertainment, cocktails, and great food. Parking is great too. We also talked to the owner and the waiters several times, and they made us feel like home. we also love it because it's located in a VERY nice area. YOU MUST TRY IT!
Thank you Ms. Mostashari for the great food. (Tina) Bita Aghdam

We went on a Sunday night. While we had made reservations in advance, we were seated at the worse possible table with a lot of traffic. The food was very good, however, the service was absolutely horrible! Waited 20 minutes before the waiter came to the table to take our drink and food order. We had ordered appetizers which were served only a few mintues before the main course. The waiter never came back to check on our food . When we asked the other waiter for things( clearing dirty dishes, and more water, etc), he acted as though we were bothering him. The live music was good, but very loud. If you have sensitive ears and could put up with poor service but excellent food you will enjoy this place. On the weekends, they definitely need more waiting staff, but most importantly, pleasant ones! With so many great Persian restaurants around, it is going to take a lot for us to go back to this place which is too Bad. Perhaps the service is better during week days.

From the General Manager down to the hostess who takes reservations, this restaurant stinks of incompetence.

My assistant reserved the private room for a business function for ten people. She received a call from the restaurant to cancel our reservation the day before the reservation. All we were told was that the room was no longer available. No longer available? What is the point of a reservation if it doesn't hold the room. The GM told me the reservation hostess made a mistake and didn't realize the restaurant has a contract with an outside vendor for events every Wednesday; however, if we wanted to come, he would welcome us but we would need to clear the area by 8pm. To top it off, the restaurant had a week to figure out they had double booked the room and left it till the last minute to notify us. Needless to say, the two parties flying in from New York that we had to reroute to the Peninsula for dinner thought we were idiots who were incapable of making a dinner reservation of all things and changing plans at the last minute. If you want to impress company with pathetic hospitality, I suggest going to the Camden House. From my conversations with the GM and hostess, I would guess the staff has an IQ of somewhere in the neighborhood of 50...in total.

I went there, when they were just starting. The place was empty, and I didn't know why.....the food is fantastic, the atmosphere is wonderful, and the service was always friendly. I hope they are doing better now. I have been thinking about going back there recently
