Art-N-Fun

I liked the place at once when I entered their studio spacious, sun lit room, decorated with great taste, and with EVERYTHING that I could imagine for pottery painting well organized in hand reach. I had my sons birthday there I admired how the party organizer did a great job in managing my lively company, their painting projects, and kept those who finished their project earlier busy with fun games. BTW! They have great variety of different pricing options to fit the age and size of a party company. Everything was prepared and easy for me I may have spent only 2 hours on preparation and follow up of the party. And! There are lots of convenient parking places for guests!

We had great experience there! Not only the girls were happy, but the boys loved it too. A lot of cool choices for boys' taste as well.
After painting pottery kids were playing games organized by the staff and had a lot of fun.
The staff was very helpful and friendly. Set up in the private room was nice and not only they cleaned up everything (and the kids did leave a mess!), but they even helped us carry the presents and balloons to the car.Very reasonable prices comparing to what you get in other places.

My daughter Caroline had her birthday party here, and it was excellent. I'm a single dad without a lot of spare time, and it was a relief to be able to have someone else take care of things. We've painted at Art-n-Fun before, and Caroline loves it, so we thought we'd give it a try for her birthday as well. We picked out a time and a package- the desk staff was very helpful in explaining our options and making sure we knew what was included in each. I could even do the goody bags through them, which was very convenient.
The party itself went really smoothly- the party assistant was great in getting the paints set up and the project going. She played music games with them while I set up the food, and all the kids were having a blast. There was also a dress-up chest, which of course the girls loved.
I'm very happy we were able to do Caroline's party at Art-n-Fun- the kids had a blast, and it was very easy on me.

ART-N-FUN

Today I discovered Art-N-Fun at 167 Main Street in downtown Los Altos, CA.

Art-N-Fun is a bargain considering everything you need is provided. There are plenty of brushes and glazes for everyone and lots of ceramic pieces to chose from. They welcome you to stay as long as you like at no extra charge. When you are finished, they do all the clean up! You just walk away! It is pure fun and no set up-clean up work.

Six of us spent an ABSOLUTELY FUN 3 hours painting ceramics.
It was so enjoyable that I stayed an extra 2 hours (at no extra cost!) and finish glazing my piece till I could not think of anything else to add! The staff was wonderful!

I would highly recommend Art-N-Fun to anyone, of any ability, and to all age groups!

It was joyful!

So, I go to Art n Fun a few times a month, and I love it there. The staff is friendly and competent, and the studio is great. Nice atmosphere, nice setup (very casual, you don't feel like it's all stuffy and restrictive), cool pieces to paint. I know thye have a whole bunch of stuff for kids (I don't have any, so no comment on those from me) and they offer a range of things for adults too. The employees make an effort to know the customers, and they have a new customer reward thing which is awesome if you go frequently.

My birthday party was a total disappointment - unorganized, unprepared, kids eat on the floor, coordinators busy sitting around and chatting (teenagers from local schools). Kids bored and tired, when usually nobody wants to leave the party. Choose something else for your child!

Cheaper than all other studios we've been to, although the fanciest.
Great private party room, which we (a group of 5 friends) were offered to use at no additional cost. Service was good. We'll definitely plan our next event there.

I took a chance and held my daughter's 5th birthday party here even though we'd never painted here before. The place looked nice and I thought you can't go 'that' wrong in Los Altos. I was told by the manager that she had a good person lined up to run our party. Unfortunately, our party was "run" by a completely bored and passive teenager who didn't do much in the way of coordinating. Things got off to a horendously slow start (thankfully the children were patient.) The teenager had no idea what kind of party we had selected and took forever to set up the paints. She also didn't seem to have any interest in children. At the end of our allotted 2 hours, the party coordinator rudely told me that we had to be out at exactly 12:30 because there was another party coming in right after us. I made sure we were all out, but no one came in after us. I could have done without the attitude and thrown a much better party at my home. I was expecting a lot more at $20/child.

this is a new store in downtown los altos to go and paint your own pottery. they have a wonderful and helpful staff and a great selection. my kids love it and so do I. they also offer clay classes and silk scarf painting classes. if you have a child that loves to paint or if you love to relax and paint- this is the place! it is one of my favorite places to make gifts.
