Taqueria El Grullense J & G

The tacos here are perfect!! We order them plain for the kids..and with everything for us! The carne asada is always fresh tasting and never all dried up like some places!

Everything about El Grullense is real: the menu items are real Mexican, the people who work and eat there are real Mexican, and the ambiance - or lack thereof - is real, popular Mexican as well. I love to stop by their locations and grab a quick taco or quesadilla. This location in Palo Alto is very convenient, right on El Camino S of Page Mill.

PROS: food, price
CONS: not quite a date night type of place
