I took in about 12 pieces of clothes. When I got them back, one was missing, an off-white shirt...no note, no acknowledgment. When I asked them about it, they said they'd look for it and to come back the next day. Well, when I came back the next day, they handed me this bright white lady's shirt that was about 15 sizes too big. It obviously did not belong to me, and they were holding it out to me as if they were pleading I just say ok. Needless to say it wasn't mine. They said they would look for it and to come back again the next day...
When I got there, they handed me my shirt. The problem was, the shirt was splashed with bright pink. I told them it was unacceptable. They said they would clean it again and to come back (yes, again) the next day. I went back. I saw the shirt. It was now a solid orange color. They said it was the "best they could do." I told them that I wasn't happy with it and I needed to talk to the manager. Manager not available. I left my phone number and name for the manager to call. In the meantime, I came into their location 3 times over the next month to talk to the manager - and usually during my lunch hour. Finally, after I left one of the days, the manager, George, called and left me a message. He said that he had been calling me but I hadn't been returning his calls. I'm like "what?!?" so, today, i go back in there and ask for the shirt. I was just going to take it home and bleach it. The manager was actually there. After waiting for him to get off the phone with another (and I am sure irrate) customer, he came to talk to me. I told him my issue and his first reaction was "hasn't it been two years" - my response was no, it's been 6 months but it was a lot of back and forth trying to reach him. He went to the back office and found my information. He said that they no longer have my garment and gave it away to charity. I asked him what the policy was and if they gave courtesy calls. He said he did call every month for 3 months. I told him that I only received one call from him and his message was rude (I was referring to the comment about saying that he had been calling and I was ignoring him). I told him again that I only received one call and he wasn't very nice in it. He said that there's no way he would never leave a rude message. He just stood there and looked at me as if I was making all this up. I told him he was "telling the untruth" and I guess it upset him because he repeated it again that he "would never be a rude person." i told him he was being rude right now. I also told him that it was a very expensive shirt and it really sucked that they gave it away without letting me know. he called me a "b*tch" - which I had to react. i told him to "f off" - and then...I swear he said "go get herpes, you psycho" - not sure what that had to do with drycleaning. I agree with the others who wrote that the manager here doesn't give a darn about anything but himself. There is no way they would admit they damaged your clothing. It's money down the drain to the customers, but money in his pocket.

I have been a customer for 2+ years and have been very pleased and satisfied with this business. They have always been courteous and professional with the handling of my clothes.

I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great place to have your clothes done, their location is very convenient, their quality is on par with their far more expensive counterparts and not to mention their prices are a real bargain!

I look forward to my continued patronage for years to come and I invite you to give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

I was really suprised to read the comments about this location. I have been taking my clothes to this cleaner for just over two years and i have never had a bad trip. They remember my name, when they see my truck pull up they will start getting my clothes together, and there has been a couple times I have called and said I would be a few minutes after seven and they had no issues waiting for me so I could get my clothes. Guys hats off to ya! Thank you for making my dry cleaning time a breeze.

I've been going to Park Ave Cleaners for 4.5 years now and I have to say its the best place in town. They have always had my clothes finished on time and the owner is phenominal!!!!!!!! He works so hard and treats his employees AND customers with the utmost respect. They are so respectful to me and I have referred them to my family and friends for years now. Who ever has an issue with this store is screwed up and has issues. For all of you on here who care about the littlest issues SUCH AS a crease in the waist band needs to get a life. I love this place and will continue to get my clothes cleaned at Park Ave.

I have been using Park Avenue Cleaners on Jones Maltsberger for over three years. I have always been satisfied with the cleaning and laundry services, until recently. I took 7 pairs of slacks and 5 blouses in this morning for laundry and dry cleaning but left with clothes in hand. I was told that the blouses were more expensive to launder because they had to be done individually as women's blouses do not fit on the machine. My blouses are larger than many men's shirts (I amd 5'10" and wear an XL) and I find this rationale to be total nonsense. My blouses were always charged the men's rate in the past but now, all of a sudden, they no longer "fit on the machine"? I guess this is the way to rip off customers in a day when we are all trying to make it through the recession. Shame on you and all cleaning services that pull this disservice on your female customers, the customers that use dry cleaning services more than their male counterparts. If I am unsuccessful in finding a cleaners that treat all customers equally, I guess my washer and dryer will get more use. My water bill is cheaper than your service for sure.

DO NOT GO HERE. They recently lost all of my clothes. All 20 pieces!!! I don't know how in the world they can lose that many pieces. My best guess is it was stolen by someone who works there. I have been a loyal customer for almost 3 years. Even when they damage my clothes never once do I make a big deal or file a claim. The minute they lost all of my clothes, the owner treated me horribly, acting like HE'S the victim. Never answered my emails or calls and when he finally gets around to processing my claim, he paid me next to nothing, not even a third of what I paid to purchase my clothes. There is no way I can come close to replacing all of my clothes. Not to mention they were my favorite items since I was just in Vegas the week before. And when you try to talk to them, they act like it's not their fault and they weren't negligent. So Beware. They obviously do not care about their customers or customer service.
