Lion House

My husband and I chose the Lion House for our reception because of the great location and the beauty of the building. We were very satisfied with the service that was provided and how caring the employees were. The only thing that was confusing for our guests was parking, although we did indicate where to park in our invitations. We were fortunate enough to have our reception in the Garden Room on a beautiful evening and our guests really enjoyed being at the Lion House too. I did not feel that the prices were very high, but that will also depend on how many guests you have and the catering menu.

This is wonderful for large weddings. The pictures you can get there are beautiful. I went there for a cousins wedding/ They have incredible chefs who prepare all sorts of great food - makes a wedding very easy. There are all sorts of recipe books for the Lion House - their food is famous!

PROS: Great Food, Makes Weddings Easy and great pictures
CONS: Not really fancy - just old and elegant - depends on your tastes

The food here is excellent. People love the food so much that they have come up with a Lion House cook book. The things that I think are the best are the rolls and the desserts. The rolls are world class. I don't think I have ever had better rolls. The best dessert is the Lion House Cheesecake. I would reccomend this place.

This is an immaculate, remodeled home of Brigham Young. My friend recently had a wedding reception here and it was amazing! The decor was beautiful as well as the lighting. There is an amazing spiral staircase in the home where she had beautiful pictures taken with her extended family. The prices are a little steep; however, it's definitely worth it for your special day. This is also a historical location; marked on the national registry-a big hit for grandparents and other elderly adults.
