I went with a friend for lunch one day and it was quick service even though they seemed busy. The food was great and I even got something I didn't even recognize on the menu. I ate way too much and loved every minute of it.

Blossom is one of my most favorite restaurants in LA. The decor is sparse yet comfortable. The food is simple and delicious. Their presence in downtown LA elevates the local culinary scene.

If you're craving a huge bowl of Pho to snuggle

It's light (no MSG) and still very tasty. Nice walk to Blossom if you're in DTLA. The pho is excellent!

I ordered the Pho Tom (with shrimp) and my friend ordered the classic Pho Ga (with chicken). The food is reasonably priced. We both loved our meals. In response to another post that the pho is not adequately spiced, you just need to add

Pros: service, food, ambiance, prices

Cons: parking - hard to find on street, $5 in garage nearby

The spring roll appetizer my friend and I had at this Downtown Vietnamese restaurant was good. However, his Pho noodles and my meat rice dish were almost tasteless. We almost left also when we saw the C rating from the health inspectors.

I am really glad that I found this place downtown, it is close to the theaters, and affordable. A great variety of dishes and many of them are vegetarian. Everyone in our party enjoyed their dinner. Light, airy, trendy atmosphere a great

You know a restaurant is doing all right when they need to double the size of their restaurant in their first year or so. Blossom has just annexed the storefront next door, so now the kitchen serves two dining rooms, one to its right and one to its left. Once they iron out the kinks of communicating in the fronts-of-house that led to a little back and forth when we tried to be seated the other day, they'll be fine. They make lovely spring rolls and crepes, their pho isn't bad (and you can recognize everything in it) but their salads with imperial rolls and lemon grass steak take the cake.
PROS: fast service, good food
CONS: parking is rough all day

Big fig jam anywhere... I guarantee you'll find something you love on the menu. Not a restaurant but definitely a small bite boutique. Service is slow at times but worth it.

When it comes to Vietnamese food, I tend to be on the picky side. Years of eating home-cooked food by parents who used to own a restaurant plus having grown up in Vietnam tend to do that to a person. I tried out Blossom today. I had

This place has the most authentic and yummy Vietnamese food around?coming from someone who lived most of my life near Little Saigon. The eggrolls are crispy and seasoned perfectly, and come with plenty of lettuce to wrap them in and dip.
