The service was good, very friendly waitress, but the food wasn't the best. I'm sure being on the bay helps them draw customers, otherwise I doubt they would have many. I doubt I will return for seconds.

Across from the beach in scenic Birch Bay, this small Mexican restaurant has a scale model of the Grand Canyon for a parking lot. Inside, you'll find a bar with pull-tabs, garish pseudo-Mexican decor, and small booths. A sign attached to a bell above the bar promises that you'll buy a round for the house if you ring the bell. This probably would make the food more bearable, or at least you'd attribute it to a hangover.

The cook decided to attempt to make up for quality with quantity. Portions were comically large - three of the enchiladas could be used for a foundation of a house. The taco salad involved at least a head of lettuce, a few tomatoes and two cans of beans. Spices were curious at first, but several hours later, lunch made it's presence known, as well as the spices that had been used. I spent a restless night waking up to burp up something resembling garlic. Time, not Tums, was the antidote.

This is the worst Mexican food I've eaten this year. This isn't the worst ever - that was a case of nausea and cramping from Taco Bell. However, the best I can say about this restaurant is, "it's better than going to the clinic". Awful, horrid food - dine at your own risk.
