Love the new champagne flight! Staff is always friendly and knowledgeable, not snooty like some others I have been too. The uptown location is nice too.

This is a great place to have some nice wines, some great food, and be able to actually talk to your friends. The atmosphere is nice, and you feel like you can have a conversation without having to shout across the table.

I enjoy going to Cru on the weekends before the crowd starts to get large. If you like to sample all different wines, this is the place to go. Besides offering wines, they do offer a champagne flight. The neat twist is that they give you a card that explains the different flavors and hints of aromas that make the wine unique, so if you are not a wine expert, the fun is to try and see if you can detect what the card is explaining. They also offer a cheese flight platter that is an excellent pairing for a nice day on the patio.

Meet on a blind date there one Saturday. Had a great time tasting wine and sitting outside watching people go by. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Cru is my absolute most favorite wine bar around. The atmosphere is always soothing and calm. It's a great place to sit with friends and chat...or find a corner, read a book and enjoy a few glasses of wine. The staff is always very helpful and knowledgeable. Cru is also known for hosting wine tastings which is fantastic for a person who has recently discovered their love for wine.

Looks are deceiving. My father came to visit, so my husband and I took him out to Cru thinking the food would be great (it looked good on their website). We were WRONG. Not only is service slow, but when the food was brought out, the waitress ignored me and served the men. My dinner was brought out 10 minutes later! Last I checked, proper etiquette was to serve everyone at the same time. And the sad part was, we all ordered the same dish! Very rude. But the worst part was the POOR QUALITY. While my father's chicken was mostly white, mine was pink and red all over (and the potatoes were hard/uncooked for all of us!). When I brought this to the attention of a server, she said she'd take it to the kitchen to see if it was pink. It took her 10 minutes to bring it back and when she did, she said she had the chef cook it a little longer. Well, the meat was white this time, but now VERY DRY and like chalk. Not only that, but they would only credit my dish on the bill. I was so disgusted and embarrassed for choosing to eat at this place. What a waste of money! We ended up paying the bill and heading to an AWESOME restaurant down the street for our REAL dinner (Main Street Bread Bakery & Bistro- which serves DELICIOUS entrees, sandwiches, and desserts! Try their grilled chicken bruschetta for dinner and a lava cake for dessert!). Go figure dinner at the bakery (with dessert included!) came out to a LOT less than dinner at Cru. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME & MONEY AT CRU!

Pros: Valet option

Cons: TERRIBLE food, SLOW service, smokers outside.
