Do not board your dogs here! I trusted them to watch my two dogs on while on a trip and one was attacked by multiple dogs and severely injured on her ear and both back legs. It happened over two weeks ago and she is still on medication. My dog went in with no scars and now has numerous scars (physical and emotional). Our other dog came home sick. If you love your pets do not take them to Wuf Pet Resort & Spa.

I have taken my dog couple times for grooming. I won't leave her for playtime or over night because I think they have too many dogs and not enough people watching and caring for them. Though that is true of every place I think. The grooming is good, but not cheap. You can find better for less money. I always ask to talk to the groomer and she always acts like she is SO busy and uninterested in what I want. It takes her all day to do my dog's grooming. There is only one groomer there and they need more.

I have taken my Dog for 3 years now. Indy looks forward to going every day. She follows me around in the morning waiting to get in the car. Everyone that works at Wuf is great. They say hello to me by name every morning and evening. My son is using Wuf to board his dogs when he goes out of town now also. Wuf is a great place to have your pup treated like a King or Queen.

I highly recommend WUF. We've been very satisfied customers for over a year. With three dogs, I have tried several different boarding and day care facilities in D/FW over the past few years. WUF is the first place that has won me over as a loyal client. I know our dogs are very well taken care of while boarding; they are happy when I drop them off as they get run and play all day. WUF has been very flexible when I need to adjust pick up or drop off times last minute. They have accommodated every request I've made such as not separating two of our dogs overnight due to their separation anxiety, etc. I appreciate Jennifer's attention to detail and have always found her to be professional, sincere and very focused on the care of Chick, Chuck and Miss Cleo. What more can I saw than - there is almost nothing we love as much as our dogs - and with lots of other places we've tried, WUF is the first and only place I truly feel good about boarding them and am happy to trust them with our 'kids'.

Wuf Pet Resort and Spa is a fantastic place to take your pup! My lab recently boarded and was treated to the best time. She played all day long, swam in their pools, met tons of new friends, and slept on a pillow-top bed. I have never seen her so happy! Their daycare is attended throughout the day and they are even staffed at night.
They make me feel at home and secure.

Wuf Pet Resort and Spa is not a business that employs experienced pet caregivers. They have endangered several pets and allowed a few of them to be seriously injured. The manager that kept your pets safe is no longer there! They didn??t tell anyone she was gone.

I knew something was different when I last allowed my dog to go to Wf. I shouldn??t have left her there. Now it??s owned and managed by people with no experience with packs of dogs or caring for dogs they don??t know well. They don??t have overnight staffing and their daytime staff is clueless. Ask them a question and get a questionable answer in response.

The last time I was in, I asked to speak to the new owners and the employee told me they don??t come in and don??t work there. She said she didn't know how to get a hold of them. I asked who managed the place when they are gone. She told me he doesn??t work weekends.

Well, after reviewing many places I settled on WufSpa. I live in Las Colinas so I thought this would be a good place to go. Boy was I wrong! My dog stayed there for 5 days and came back with pieces of his nose sliced off like he had been in a bar brawl. The worst part about that is I discovered this once I was bathing him at home. They didn't even have the courtesy to tell me what happened. It was obvious that they knew because there was some type of medication on his nose. My dog is a yorkie and is very non-confrontational, so I am wondering what happened? I was very abrasive about putting my dog in the daycare it offers with the boarding service, but I thought it would do good to have him mingle with other dogs since he would be there for almost a week. I called and checked on him daily an the workers always said he was doing "awesome"......well they must have been talking about someone else's dog. Funniest part about that is that when we came to pick him up we asked for him by name and they had no idea who he was......so how did they know he was doing well when we called?

Additionally, I believe my dog has kennel cough and will be seeing the vet tomorrow. It makes me wonder did all of the dogs have the required shots or do they not update their records after the first visit?

Needless to say, I will not be going back. If you must use them, please take my advice and do not let your ''SMALL'' dog in their daycare. The webcam is nice, but most of the time you can't see what is going on. I recommend that you look around and find somewhere else for your family friend.

Cons: Understaffed, Not truthful, Cleanliness, Record keeping

I boarded my 9 month old Lab, Ranger, this past Saturday afternoon/night at Wufspa. I have to say they were really awesome! I have never boarded him before so I was very nervous even though I had seen their facility, met some of their friendly staff, and asked every question imaginable. I looked at 5 other facilities before I chose Wuf. Their staff was great. The facility was clean and nice. They were very patient, reassuring, and were happy to accomodate my requests. I chose the Penthouse Suite, which had 2 beds, both with pillow top mattresses, nice bedding and bright colored throw pillows, a nice throw rug on the floor, flat screen tv (i'm not sure when they turned this on or if they did-forgot to ask) and a webcam for me to watch him. They let me prepare his bedding and put his favorite toys in his suite myself, they took the time to show me how to use the webcam (which was one of the main reasons I chose them). Sounds dumb, but I was a wreck dropping him off and the girl who checked me in was very sweet and reassuring that they would take excellent care of him and not to worry. AND THEY ABSOLUTELY DID!
I watched him on the webcam almost hourly to check on how he was doing-even in the middle of the night. The staff in the daycare area kept close watch over them during playtime to make sure that if there were "accidents", they were cleaned up immediately, making sure there was no fighting, humping, etc. Ranger was a "humping victim" for a few minutes, but one of the guys (not the girl who was suppose to be watching them in the play area-which is my only complaint really since she wasn't paying attention!) stepped in and removed the dog who was doing the chasing/humping.
They also gave me a schedule of what time daycare ended, what time he would be fed and walked, what time he would wake up, go outside to potty, and go back to daycare. I was watching at each of these times and they were right on the money every time! I even witnessed him getting his morning belly rub when they went into his suite.
When I went to pick him up, one of the girls told me that he hadn't eaten his breakfast (which is normal for first-time boarders). She said when she went back and noticed that he hadn't eaten, she poured some warm water on his food and mixed a little wet food with it and then HAND FED him. Now that is something you will NOT find in most places if I had to guess!
If you are reading this review, I'm sure it's because you love your dog. No one loves their dog more than I do and I would ABSOLUTELY take him to Wuf again! You can tell these people really love the animals and that they take pride in their work!

I have never felt comfortable boarding my dogs anywhere. They are my children, and until now, I've only trusted them with family. Wuf is a beautiful facility - from the pens to the suites, it's done the way I would do it if I had a boarding place. The staff truly loves the dogs, and the owner is the sweetest person ever. I know they will treat my babies as I would. My dogs love it at Wuf. When I pull into the parking lot, my dogs go crazy with excitement. They don't even notice I've left. I have been taking them to daycare, and boarding, since Wuf opened. It's the best place ever!

We take our dog to Wuf Spa every time we go out of town and he loves it there. They will cater to his dietary requests and unique behavior in the play room and he loves them! We love that we can pay an extra fee to arrange an off-hour pick up time- such a customized menu of services. I've never had a hidden fee or anything I wasn't expecting - it's all very clearly outlined on the website based on the type of boarding you reserve and any extras you add on for grooming or off-hour pick up. I also check in on him regularly using the web cam features and he always comes home tired and happy. We would definitely recommend this place.

I bring my dog to Wuf each week for daycare and to board at least once a month. Recently, I noticed changes in staffing. I asked the owner if everything was OK and she said, "if I can't trust them with my own dog, I would not trust them with yours." The owner of this business really cares about her clients (both human and canine) and has gone the extra mile with Wuf. I can't imagine leaving my dog with anyone else! Please pay no attention to the negative reviews posted recently. They are from former employees that the owner had good sense to let go. I encourage you to stop by Wuf and take a tour. You will love it!

This place has such a HIGH employee turn over that you never know what kind of a person will be taking care of your dog when you bring them in! No employee has been properly trained on how to handle the dogs. And the worst part? They are lying to your face. No one is actually there 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The owner will --> LIE <-- to you to get you in the door ! And probably lie to you about how your pet's stay actually went. I would rather take my dog and leave him in the backyard than take him back to wuf spa. The owner is the worst part of this bussiness! DONT USE WUFSPA!

I also just had an unpleasant experience with Wuf pet resort- there were all kinds of hidden charges and I had a legitimate complaint that was ignored. They showed no compassion to our family- I had to board my dog last minute because my father in law had just died- and when I picked him up the bill far exceeded what had been discussed in advance. The people who have shared that all the owner cares about is your money are absolutely correct. My dog will never go back here.

Friendly staff, it's very clean, and my dog is always excited when I drop him off in the mornings for day care or to board him. The best thing is you can check on your dog via internet...which I always do at work or when I have to go out of town...and I feel reassured that Bo is well taken care of and he's enjoying himself.

WUF does not even deserve the 1 star that they are getting on this review!!!!! I have never had a bad experience boarding my dog before, but that's because I've never gone to Wuf before. I dropped my dog off for memorial day weekend, and when I picked him up, his head was swollen to twice the size it should be. They told me that when taking him out to walk, another dog which was aggressive somehow got out of his run and they got into a fight. That night when I got my dog home I noticed that he was very lethargic and he also wouldn't eat. I immediately took him to the emergency vet where they gave him fluids and treated him with benadryl and antibiotics. His temperature was 103 and the vet was really worried about his organs at that temperature. They had not done ANYTHING for my dog-not even clean his wounds, which eventually got infected, even with antibiotics. I have now been to my regular vet 5 times since this happened, and treated him for an abscess on the head. When I talked to the owner about the situation, she was incredibly rude to me, blamed me for the incident, and was just downright horrible. Needless to say that I have not been able to recoup any of my $1500.00 worth of vet bills since this occured, nor the money that I spent on boarding. I don't think that these people care about dogs at all, I think all they care about is $$$$. DO NOT BOARD YOUR ANIMALS HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow! Great dog spa. Wuf Spa really caters to "dog people." We have left our lab there twice in the last month. My wife and I are so pleased with the service and care. We love that we can watch our dog on the web cam and call anytime to get updates. We even got a report card! My wife immediately hung it on the refrigerator.

I think everyone should use Wuf. Open more locations!

I moved to Dallas about 2 years ago. I was referred to Wuf by a friend and have been using them since. I board my dog there about 2 times a month. She loves it!

I have to say this place is absolutely AMAZING!! I read Maggie's review. And, after having personal experience with Wuf and some pretty crappy experiences at some other facilities, Wuf definitely sets themselves apart from everyone else in this town. The dog's are very well cared for and loved by all of the staff members there.

Maggie, please back off. You continuing to attack this business and the owner is getting out of hand.

Wuf really is a wonderful place to take your dog. The facility is tremendous and so is the staff.

We were on our honeymoon in December 2008 when we boarded our dog Lucy with the Wuf Spa. Mid-week, we received a call that they had lost our dog. The owner told us that somehow Lucy got out of a locked cage and out the front door as an employee was entering. Since then, they've acted like we're an inconvenience. We're heartbroken. Lucy is still missing. We would have been better off chaining our dog to a tree in the backyard.

I just returned from my summer vacation and left my 2 pups at Wuf for a week. My dogs and I had an exceptional experience that I think everyone should know about. The moment I walked in the door the staff made me feel comfortable and at home.

The decor is gorgeous and the facility is very clean. My dogs had a blast and I know they did because I could watch them on camera! They stayed in a suite that features a pillow-top mattress and a flat screen TV. Too cute.

My babies also had a spa day and the grooming was wonderful. They have never looked so great!

Their prices are reasonable and they have someone in the buiding all of the time. You have to take your dog to Wuf!

Pros: Cleanliness, exceptional care of dogs, great service

Cons: They don't board humans

Imagine its 5 am, youre getting up going to work. Youre tired but ready to do a good job. The day starts off like any other. Pull into the empty lot, unlock the dark building, open the door and turn off the alarm. But something didnt feel quite right. Did something brush by your leg? It was hard to tell, its dark and youre just waking up. You look around your feet and outside only to see it. It's too late.

Wuf spa would never intentionally lose a dog. Consumers need to remember that when you are boarding a dog at ANY facility you take a risk. And while we always, always strive to give your dog the BEST care possible accidents happen.

Lucy was an extraordinary dog. She is an orginal. She also had prior "accidents" at OTHER boarding facilities. When reading Lucy's story, the author failed to insert these qaulities about Lucy:

-Lucy can scale an 8 foot fence
-Lucy escaped a previous boarding facility
-Lucy escaped from a relative of the owners
-Lucy was an extremely nervous and timid dog that was not on daily medicine dosage

I bet that you didnt know that not only have the employees posted posters, spent numerous hours online searching, called shelters, visited shelters, went out and physically searched for lucy but we also were hurt. We were upset and saddened just as much as the owners. We truly care for every dog that enters this building. We dont hire people for a job, we hire people with a passion. And everyone here will forever pine for your missing dog. But hurting a repuation of a company does more than put an owner out of a business, you hurt its employees who have a passion for the place they work for and the things they do. We understand you are upset. You are going to tell people but if you are going to tell the world about what 'wuf did to you' please include lucy's facts.

Thank you
