The food is average, but the ambiance was great. If you are looking for a place to unwind from a stressful week at work, check out the Happy Hour at the Stonefish Grill. The specialty drinks are superb and the crowd is sophisticated. You will not have to travel into the DC traffic for a good time, with a mature crowd.

This stonefish is a bit better than others I've been to in MD and VA. The service is good once you get seated. There is a nice selection on the menu and if you don't like something, they are good about getting you something else.

In an area that has many affluent residents, but few nice places to dine, this place is a jewel. The restaurant seems to specialize in seafood w/ a cajun twist. The staff strives to give good service - not as great as you might get in downtown DC, but good for the area. The prices are moderate w/ most entrees in the range of $15 to $25. My personal favorite is the buffalo catfish fingers, although technically they're not buffalo, they're fried catfish fingers w/ hot sauce on the side. Overall, I have had good experiences here and it tends to have a nice crowd if you just want to stop in for a cocktail.

PROS: Good Food
CONS:
