The 11th Ward Regular Democratic Organization has the most friendly staff that can assist residents with all of their questions pertaining to city and political issues. There are many available help issues that people don't know about that include senior citizen tax freezes and programs, garage sale permits, help with high gas bills, free light bulbs, and various other discount programs including income tax filing. My experience with them included the guidance of bidding on a parcel of land. They assisted me on what I had to do.
