John MacArthur is one of today's foremost expository preachers. You will get the Word of God preached to you when you come here. There are two duplicate main services each with around 3,000 in attendance. Worship is classical led by full orchestra or selected string or brass ensembles. The whole worship service is very formal and is very reverent. There is no "playing around" and worship and the Word and prayer is held high. The preaching is amazing, straight from the Word as it should be. There are fellowship groups to attend with other great pastors and is a chance to get to know people in this large church. If you love the Lord and have a heart to grow closer in your walk through sound biblical teaching, this is the place for you!

I've visited this church a few times. It's an extremely large church with a big sanctuary and a few different services. The preacher is very well-known - John MacArthur - and his preaching is very academic. He's a knowledgeable man and has written several Biblical commentaries and studies. The worship uses the praise style - it seemed a bit dry to me, but I'm sure other folks enjoyed it. The church is just very large, so it was bigger than I was looking for at the time.
