1 Stars: sick dog (by nancy h.)

I thought it was too high. The vet in columbia SC was cold, spend 5 minutes with my sick dog and I had to pay 101 dollars, she acted like, she didn't care. . Since I work with a vet in my state, I ask her to give my dog a injection, she gives her pills, cause it is more in their pocket. No toe nail clippings, that might have been 20 dollars extra. I receive 7 day supply of antibodics, and one tape worm pill for $101.00. They treated my pet like a business not a compassiate person

1 Stars: a major disappointment (by janice m.)

This pet clinic has been a major disappointment for me. I can't believe this clinic endorses an insurance that only covers shots and doctors visit. It deceives you because it makes you think that it covers your pet when illnesses or accidents occurs. I learned my lesson when my dog got sick and her wellness plans only covered her doctors visits. Unfortunately, i still have to continue paying for her insurance even when she passed away. I discovered that I still have to continue making payments on her insurance until her anniversary date according to the fine print of her contract. So, please research other insurance or else you will end up paying more money. Overall, I am unhappy with the care for my animals. The vets are impersonal and does not seem to care for the pets and their owners. The wait time is long and your time with the vet is rushed. You end up spending more time with the vet nurse rather than the vet. The information you get is limited and it derives mostly from their receptionists and nurses. So if you care about your animals, please look into other vets.

4 Stars: Dr. Steward makes this clinic high quality (by Gail W.)

the petsmart store in pasadena has a vet clinic where there are several vets. The one vet that I ask for and like alot is Dr. Stewart. She is busy but makes sure she connect to the animal and owner and has gotten down on the floor to make contact with my two Italian greyhounds. On two occasions, I had an emergency and she was very good with me and with my Andre, my IG. The clinic offers several levels of their plan which give more services and procedures with increased cost of plan per month. There is the basic plan up to 3 or 4 levels. The concept at this clinic is on prevention. The basic plan covers at least two bi annual check ups. Office visits are unlimited on all plans; and at level 3 dental cleanings are included. I pay approx $30/mth for the 3rd level plan. They offer brochure which explain what is covered and not covered under each plan. I tried pet insurance but was swamped by paper work and keeping up in repayment. It was also more expensive and less preventive leaning. IT is busy but the quality is there; take the time you need to get what you need. Go in with written questions and make good use of your time with the vet. The drawback is that you can wait; they take emergencies first, of course and for walk ins you can wait an hour or two but i think it is worth it.
