5 Stars: Absolutely Perfect!!!!!!! (by Chris T.)

I have 1 dog, 2 cats and several other animals. I moved to burbank about 6 months ago and checked out all the local pet shops to see where I was going to buy all my animal products. THIS IS THE PLACE!! It is the cleanest shop in town and they sell everything you need. I bought my dog food (Innova) and Cat food (Royal Canin). They even had Frontline. If I knew people in Burbank I would tell them to shop here. Let me just say thank you to Burbank Pet Plaza you made my move to California much easier!!!

5 Stars: BEST PET STORE IN BURBANK!!! (by Kevin K.)

I am very surprised to read any bad reviews about Burbank Pet Plaza and when I came across them I just had to write one myself!

This store had been about for as long as I can remember and EVERY time I need help with my animal problems they are ALWAYS there for me.

My wife and I got a cat from there 2 years ago and it was the best choice we ever made. We looked around at all the surrounding store that had cats and the shelters but Burbank Pet Plaza was the best choice. The cats there are rescued! Not bought from breeders! Yay!! The kittens and all the other animals there are VERY well taken care of. The only this is you do have to wait for the kittens to be available but that is because they want to make sure the kittens are health before they adopt them out. (which I hope all store and rescues would do).

I WOULD VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND CHECKING THIS STORE OUT!!!

I have checked out all the other pet stores in the area and non of them come close to this one!!

BURBANK PET PLAZA IS #1 IN MY EYES!!

1 Stars: THIS PLACE IS A JOKE, TERRIBLE EMPLOYEES!!! :-( (by Stephanie T.)

I always try to suppot local independent pet stores (instead of giong to Petco or Petsmart). Because Burbank Pet Plaza is the closest to me, I've been going there to give them my business. But going to this store is plain SILLY.
When you walk in, first thing you hear are the girls behind the register passing time by talking and gossiping to each other, sometime about customers, their personal life, or other people. They rarely greet or aknowledge the customers that walk in. AND THEY NEVER ASK IF THEY CAN HELP YOU WITH ANYTHING. And I wonder why there are always four people working at the same time, all standing behind the counter or hiding in the back? These teenage girls look like they really don't care to be there. The mood in the store is always one of apathy, No smiles, no friendliness, just stares. I could only imagine how the poor animals are neglected at this store, so sad.
My last transaction at Burbank Pet Plaza was the 'straw on the camel's back". A cashier was talking to another employee about her aunt's dog, and it got lost and her aunt bought it from Pet Love, and this and that and... I just started getting agravated and tried to pick my items and get out of the store fast. So I picked out a dog treat that had coupon taped to the bag (no biggy, just 50 cents), When I got home, the cashier didn't bother to take the coupon and didn't give me my 50 cent off. And I just thought, "this pet store employees seriously dense and stupid who just don't care and have no comprehension of what customer service is?! My husband is a retail store manager who enforces strict customer service guidelines with his employees. But this pet store is a serious joke. I've started going to Petco now, sometiems shop online, and even go to a pet store in Los Feliz by my friend's house. I'm much happier now when I have to buy dog food/cat food for my 3 DOG AND 2 CATS.
So if the store owner is reading this... you may want to consider paying a higher wage and highering better employees to train them the right way. Stay away from teeangers who could flip burgers down the street. YOU ARE SERIOUSLY LOOSING CUSTOMERS!

1 Stars: They will they you anything (by Linda W.)

When calling about specific products, they will say anything to get you to the store or to get you off the phone. One other sure possibility is that their sales clerks are just plain lazy and don't want to be bothered checking stock or whatever. I have repeatedly been lied to on the phone about what they supposedly have in stock only to get to the store (which is not in my area) to find that what I called about is, in fact, not in stock. I made a trip to pick up Rollios that I was told were in bountiful supply at the store only to find upon arrival that they had none. This has happened three separate times over the last few months. The clerk debated with me (in front of other customers) that a dog chew Rollio is the same thing as a rawhide chip because they are made of the same material. Following that logic, I guess a house made of wood is the same as a wooden spoon. Trust nothing that they tell you on the phone. Their teenage help could care less. When I began to express my displeasure to the sales clerk (in a firm but not rude manner), she just shrugged her shoulders, turned her back on me, and walked away. One of the customers in the store followed me out and gave me the name of another local pet store (C & C Pet Supply) where I got friendly help and found what I wanted. Needless to say, I am done with Burbank Pet Plaza.

PROS: ?
CONS: Just a pet store with rude, unhelpful sales clerks
