Winchester Family Physicians

Both myself and my husband have been with Winchester Family Physicians for a number of years now. We have Dr. Kerouz as our Primary Physician. We have nothing but praise for her. If I have a problem I will call the office and leave a message for her to call me back in the evening. She always follows up with a phone call. Her knowledge and care has been superior. I am an RN myself and have high standards of care. She gives very thorough yearly physicals and follow ups. She always makes sure I am on the correct medication and dosage. I have always gotten referrals requested for any specialized care outside her practice. Thank you for keeping me and my family happy and healthy.

hello I both myself and my husband have been patience of the WFP for many years. I have to give Dr. Soloman five to ten stars. He is a wonderful doctor who really knows his profession. He just works magic. Thanks for all the wonderful care you have given to us in the past and present!!!

Dr. Poppe is great, but the office staff is BEYOND RUDE!! After my appointment one day I waited at desk to make an appointment for my husband. I was yelled at by the front desk person because she had "patients to deal with". Hello? What am I? Before yelling at me she embarrassed a young man in his 20s because he didn't have insurance and couldn't pay anything for the visit. She was loud and obnoxious about it. The poor kid! Anyway, she wouldn't book my husband's appointment. I had to drive 5 min home and call to make the appt. This is only one example of how rude they are. I have many. I can't stand going here! I dread seeing the office staff. You would think the doctor's would care at how the front staff are treating their patients.

I want to recommend this Family Practice. It is very rare these days to find a doctor's office that treat you as a person. I am a new patient to the office and found the staff and providers, friendly,personable and caring. I will not hesitate to recommend this office to my family and friends.

I've had problems there in the past. I had a doctors appointment scheduled at 10AM. I went in and they had told me that I missed my appointment at 10AM the previous day. That was totally impossible because I made the appointment 5 hours after I was supposedly scheduled to be there...? what? I had scheduled another appointment while I was in the office. I didn't notice right away but the receptionist wrote down the completely wrong date and time and I ended up missing my appointment again! I also have trouble every time I call there. I call when they open and no one ever answers. Sometimes I'm put on hold only to be hung up on. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. It's pretty unfortunate because I like the doctor I see there. Because of the poor customer service and the way the receptionists handle issues, I am considering finding another PCP. Another time I was there waiting for my appointment, I listened to the receptionist talk to a friend on the main line about her trip to Florida. No wonder I can never get through. They are all too busy caring about themselves.

We have been going to WFP for the last 5 years since we moved in. My Dr. only works limited days a week - which is a pain. My husband's Dr. can't even figure out a simple sinus problem.

What's worst is the office staff. They are rude, impatient and incompetent in my opinion. We had a change of insurance mid year, and my husband had an urgent visit before we have the insurance card. They keep sending us bills for that visit - even after I send in the new insurance card, called and left msg for the billing supervisor at least 3 or 4 times. I just left another msg hoping to hear something back.

I have already changed my PCP to Beth Isereal, and I am going to have my husband change his PCP as well. I would rather drive longer than to deal with this office.

After being completely mistreated by Dr Kerouz...I received no help from WFP and was essentially shut out of their office. I should have gotten an attorney then , but was so ill I could barely function..thanks to them. I would recommend staying as far away from her as possible.

They give you the time you need, the test that are needed, and medications (IF NEEDED). I too have been a patient for 7 years and have no interest in changing. No matter which of the fine doctors that I can get an Appt with. They are all good.

I was a patient of Dr. Kerouz for 6 yrs. As she took on more and more patients, she ecame too busy to deal with patients that required ongoing care (takes 3 months + to get an appointment). When I did see her, it was a quick 15 minutes and she would keep writing more & more prescriptions.
Her staff is unbelievably unprofessional. I received doctor's notes for a leave from my job and several absences that were not signed by the doctor (forged). This came to light when an employer called Dr. Kerouz to verify information on a medical leave form and she denied any knowledge of the form. Subsequently, I was fired from my job due to her staff's malfeasance. When I attempted to speak with Dr. Kerouz about the problem, she terminated my care with no notice & no reason & refused to speak with me about it at all. She never investigated the problem although I had been her patient for 6 years and she was well aware of staff problems. Her office manager then began supplying anyone who called their office with my medical information, address, phone number and other personal information. In addition, she refused to provide my medical records to my new physician for 3 months and sent my ex-husband's medical records to an unknown address without his consent.

PROS: If you want a prescription fast...
CONS: Doesn't care about patients, staff is dangerously unprofessional
