Everything was terrific. The room was perfect when I arrived. Nothing for me to do! Kathleen and the wait staff could not have been nicer. They were great with all request and went out for their way to see to our guests. I added to the tip

Heartless Management/Owners. Had my mother's funeral luncheon here. They overcharged my father by 10 guests. Attempted to rectify but no one would return my phone calls or speak with me when I stopped by in person. No wonder the place

Where do I begin? I actually was FORCED to stay at the Brick Hotel in Newtown PA because of the horrendous 48 hour policy. After I saw a bad review I changed my mind. However, I ended up staying there and eating there and it was the worst

Just came from a Bar Mitzvah luncheon at The Brick. Lovely place in a lovely setting. The food was fine, but there were quite a few service "glitches"......no bread (it was served after everyone's entree had been cleared and had be asked

Sadly another area's restaurant has lost its touch. Went to meet an old friend for brunch after many years not being there and although the glassed in proch is lovely and the staff was friendly enough, one can tell that there weren't many

Recently dined at the Brick Hotel & Restaurant in Newtown and the food was excellent. We had the mussels appetizer and it was delish (to quote Rachel Ray) . The Lamb and Tuna entrees were cooked perfectly and very well seasoned. We saw the chef come out and talk to a few tables though he didn't stop at ours. I highly recommend dining at the Brick Hotel, it is certainly worth a visit!

Pros: Best mussels in town, great ambiance

Cons: service is just ok

.

The only pro is that it is pretty to sit on the glassed porch. Unfortunately, it can get cold out there. The service is poor, and the food mediocre. The prices are so inflated for what one gets. I would recommend the Washington Crossing Inn for dining over this restaurant any time. You will get a better meal, spend less and be much happier. I wouild also recommend going around the corner to Duck Sauce in Newtown and ordering off their Urasian menu. Duck sauce is BYOB, but if it is a cocktail that you need, you can stop at the Grotto on your way.

The food here is okay as is the service. The nicest thing about eating here is the atmosphere. It is a pretty restaurant with lots of windows that look out on Newtown.

With outdoor seating in a garden-like atmosphere, the Brick Hotel, situated right on the main street, is a beautiful old building with delicious salads. The inside of the restaurant preserves the whimsical garden experience with wrap around floor to ceiling glass walls. The food is pretty delicious too!

A must try for anyone and a regular for most. I love their Kobe Burger appetizer (though it probably should be shared) and the crab dip. The Ahi Tuna and Salmon are superb. Sunday brunch is one of the best in the area too! The only thing I would upgrade is probably the desserts. I was told they are looking to change them by my server.

Highly recommend this for food, ambience and service.
